hahahahaha
Macho Man won.
Fucking seriously?
Macho Man won.
Who's carny enough to sign Hogan soon, then? TNA? GFW?
What? Not a chance. WWE doesn't see racism as a huge issue and Vince loves bringing old stars back. Hogan will be back in their good graces in a couple of years at most. Mark my words.
there are more important things to worry about. every damn one of us would hang our heads in shame if the masses knew of all the shit we talked in private. and yet we put on these public witch hunts.
i'm going to be naive and say even TNA wouldn't try to get him

This has been said every year for like that past 5 or more.TNA won't even exist pretty soon anyway lmao
Per IGN, Hogan's statement:
i guess 'Hulk Defense Force' needed to show up at some point
lol.when i was young, i though macho man was black lol! which is why he is my favorite wrestler.
but no, he is just a Very very tanned Italian.
Per IGN, Hogan's statement:
"Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it. This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs."

After his lawsuit, win or lose - he should just release the full sextape at this point.
Make some money now that his merchandise sales are gone and people will buy it not just for the sex but for the added racism!

Well in terms of an immediate apology you could probably do a lot worse than this. Doesn't make it less shitty but then again I'm not sure what else he could possibly say.
You really want to see it don't you
I don't have time to read through the whole thread, but will this affect his court case in anyway?
I'm more bothered by WWE trying to paint themselves as the good guy in this whole situation.
Del Rio not a year ago was fired because he attacked a WWE employee who made racist comments towards about him.
Everything WWE has done to repair their image recently is just trying to cover up the fact that they flaunted that stuff for decades.
Right? lol..You really want to see it don't you
He said what he needed to say and now it's off to an underground bunker with mel gibson and cosby.
edit: Actually I don't think Cosby has apologized.

Warrior was a documented bigot so that would put them in the same place.I guess WWE will retcon Ultimate Warrior slamming Andre the Giant at WM3
Agreed, this is them moving in the direction they should, it's not hypocrisy until they become recidivist. It doesn't make them better to ignore it. It does nothing to call them out over this, which is the correct step.
God no. I didn't even watch the clip, but financially it makes sense for him. People already saw the sex and read the racism. Might as wellYou really want to see it don't you
Yeah I don't think he did either. I just recall some bullshit about him not going to attempt defending himself since people would have made up their minds already.
What is happening here?
If it reaches national headline news levels, sure. They don't care about racism, they care about bad PR (especially as they are a more pg/family friendly company than they were 15-20 years ago). You can bring up dirt sheet stories about Michael Hayes or ric flair but those weren't recordings that were blowing up on social media. Hogan's name is toxic and wwe will disassociate themselves from him as long as that remains the case. Depending on how bad the tapes are and what the media reaction is to them (think Donald Sterling is ever getting back in anyone's good graces?) that might be a very very long time. You are severely underestimating this.
What is happening here?
Is the actual audio tape out?
