Bungie seem to be working on a PC game

If it's Destiny and despite loving Borderlands, I think I won't jump in
I don't want to be skinned alive for an empty game :(

Well if there's a PC port coming I wish it would be announced before The Taken King is released since I'm considering jumping in on PS4 with that, and would probably just wait if I knew it were coming to PC. Probably a long ways off though anyway.

Probably Myth 4

I don't expect Myth to ever get a new game (I assume Take 2 still has the license), but I really wish someone would put the originals on Steam already. Too good to be unavailable for purchase.

Betting on Destiny 2. Porting the first game without them getting their hooks into you with the gameplay loop to convince you to buy all the upcoming DLC doesn't strike me as fitting with their business model.

Bungie has been very clear lately that they are a single project studio.

Yeah I mean I could be wrong but there is next to zero chance they are working on anything but Destiny atm.

And considering how far into its lifespan Destiny already is and they haven't even announced it a port probably isn't coming.

So thus, Destiny 2 imo

Well while I kind of want to try Destiny, the game doesn't seem to have a whole lot of value for cost.
It's like Giant Bomb said at one point, the Destiny 5 years from now or even 10 years from now will probably be the Destiny we should have started with.

Don't worry, they are gonna add a lean feature.

I'd buy it if it was a ground breaking forward lean, for some elevated no scope trick shots

It might not be as interesting as you folks think - it might be someone to make sure the XBox One version of Destiny works while streaming to Windows 10 computers.

If Destiny 2 awesome, if Destiny 1 alright, but they better allow me to transfer my existing grind from PS4 😱

Would be Destiny 2. Destiny 1 just doesn't suit PC so if they were going to make one for PC they would need to do a lot of rethinking.

If it's Destiny and I can play with my PS4 friends I will buy this so fucking hard.

Edit: I doubt it's Destiny 2 seeing as how The Taken King is coming out and they still have more expansions planned. Would be silly.

When is Destiny 2 due though? I was under the impression more mini expansions were planned for after The Taken King until the full sequel drops, meaning Destiny 2 would be still 12+ months away. Bungie/Activision could easily get away with dropping a PC build of the first and still capitalise on future expansion packs.

I have to imagine if Activision wanted a PC version of Destiny, they'd farm it out to some other developer to keep Bungie churning out DLC or free them up for a sequel.

Yeah I guess it would be a bit weird to hire a compatability tester if the product was so far off.

You really don't need a "deep knowledge of PC gaming hardware" to stream games to a PC or between PCs. Old laptops can handle it just fine. Hence why things like Steam Link can exist for just $50, and I'd suspect Microsoft will make a similar solution for PC and Xbox One streaming at some point.

games take a long time to make.

The original contract leaked years ago had Destiny 2 dropping last gen consoles and gaining pc support, and releasing 2 years after the first game.

Could be a port of the first for PC, though.

You need what's considered a "deep knowledge of PC gaming hardware" to build/upgrade new PCs to test with these days.

A PC version is pretty much the only way I'd ever consider getting back into Destiny. As much as I disliked the gameplay loop, I've heard from a lot of people who still play the game that it's been improved considerably since the first few months, and the shooting is damned solid. I'd fuck shit up with a keyboard and mouse.

Myth 4 please!

Myth 3 confirmed.

...I wish. But it's going to be another fucking destiny.

They actually had some other company make that, MumboJumbo, after Microsoft bought Bungie. It was never the same. I played Myth II well into the release of 3.

Edit: damn, love the love for Myth in here, I miss it already );

We can forget about Mumbo Jumbos Myth 3 and all praise the leveler.

Woah avatar love for Myth II, my man.
