Hahaha
The game is not even close to an MMO and the consoles both have party chat
Anyway the PC crowd will reject this game. It's not good, it doesn't have a lot of content, and the competitive multiplayer is one of the worst, scrubbiest pieces of shit I've ever played in my life. I can't see it doing too well, especially at the $60 you know Bobby is gonna charge for it.
Sounds about right.
PC Destiny will probably sell poorly, as much as I enjoyed my time with it.
maybe because the shooting is really, really goodEvery time I go into a Destiny thread I see a few people saying that Destiny has the best shooting mechanics on the market today, basically verbatim too.
Why is this opinion so prevalent?
i'm hoping it's not destiny
This is exactly what's in the OP.
If it's Destiny I'd get it just to see what the fuss is about. I think it would do extremely well on PC
If it's for Destiny, it'd be about damn time. I've been wanting to at least try it out.
If this is Destiny and it doesn't have cross platform play then I'll kick off. None of my friends have PS4s and there's no way I'd rebuy the game on PC.
See the light Bungie.
Seems like everyone wants to try to make a first person moba right now. I wouldn't be surprised.

I think the feel is very very specific to console controller.maybe because the shooting is really, really good
Well that's not even remotely true.If it's Destiny it'll have to be F2P on PC to get any kinds of success in today PC market.
Yeah, this is what I was going to say. Destiny's what I wanted out of Borderlands. I like the always-online aspect of these types of games, because it innately creates a more competitive environment by pretty much preventing all forms of cheating.By that logic Borderlands would need to be F2P in order to gain players as it's very close to Destiny, or Destiny close to BL, in many ways. PC doesn't really have many games like Destiny that do things that Destiny is doing. Borderlands, Warframe if we reach little and ..?
Destiny would sell decently on PC imo, but would it be good fit when looking at things like map design in PvP and KB/M controls?
You wot?I think the feel is very very specific to console controller.
Destiny 2 was confirmed long ago to be releasing for PC. The real question is whether or not they'll bother porting over the first Destiny. My hope is that they do, in which case I'll triple dip. From the wikipedia article, it sounds like myth is now owned by take 2. Destiny 1 or 2 on PC would be a dream come true, but I wonder if that is really whats going on..
There's no monthly sub (frequent content packs instead) and it's an online game so I don't see why it wouldn't work on PC.

If it's because of how unsuccessful the CoD franchise is on PC, it'd be nice if they realized PC already has the solution to competitive online FPS without ridiculously overpriced DLC and shitty P2P multiplayer. From the wikipedia article, it sounds like myth is now owned by take 2. They should let you transfer your save from PC to PS4 which would be easy since the save is kept on Bungie's servers... but cross platform play on a shooter would be crazy because yup the controller players would get wrecked.
That would be a terrible idea for their product. Increase the community size, but the controller players would be at a huge disadvantage.
It has great mechanics and feel, but I think all aspects are tailored very specifically for the controller and won't translate well to KB+M.You wot?
Destiny legitimately has the best shooting mechanics out of any modern FPS I can think of. This has nothing to do with it being console exclusive.
Will buy Destiny sequel on PC. Destiny in 4k... no subscription fee. Yep, that's winning.

He's referring to PS+ and Xbox Live Gold. Keep laughing though.
If it's Destiny and I can play with my PS4 friends I will buy this so fucking hard.
Probably Myth 4
Since the servers are bungies I don't see why your character couldn't transfer from xbox to pc or ps4 to xbox or xbox to ps4. Its silly that it's missing this feature when they want you to buy the game again...
If it the game in question is Destiny, I wonder if it would be a Windows 10 exclusive for the X1 cross-save or if there would be a Steam version? I wouldn't be too surprised if there would be multiple versions for multiple PC stores. I just hope the system specs would support 30fps on the Geforce 560 2gb in my laptop. I would be thrilled to continue my game on the laptop.which it would support PSN ala Portal 2I have Destiny on all four current platforms.
The guns in destiny have like no recoil. How would they balance the game for PC mouse users?
Maybe it is Destiny 2: Electric Boogaloo

Why do people always post comments about this game without even playing it/barely playing it since launch? This is completely false. The guns in destiny have like no recoil. How would they balance the game for PC mouse users?
