The apotheosis is fighting BIG BOSS as Solid Snake in MG2. Kojima should invent a Hyper Boss title.

OMG I didn't even think BB might have had something to do with Kaz being kidnapped. But you know what. We know at the end of PW that Kaz was the other spy at Mother Base other than Paz.

If Big Boss is truly pulling the strings it would make sense that Ocelot told Big Boss this info.

I'm sure we'll get a tape of what happened to Miller.

It is genius, it really is. Also, I just re watched the GDC 2013 and E3 2014 trailers again and it was staring us in the face the whole time lol.

The burial of soldiers 9 years after MB was destroyed? lol there's the whole Big Boss kills the MB soldiers because of the infection right there.

The bit where Skullface gets of the chopper at camp omega and gets his guards to lower their guns? We didn't see Skullface arriving, we just seen him leaving so That'll be when Venom realises he's been played and has his vision of the real events of GZ and the real Boss is mortally wounded.

The bit where Big Boss is bloody and burnt, looking out the chopper but the choppers still flying? Once again the part where Venom realises he's been played.

Even the lyrics to Not your kind of people and Nuclear tell us everything we need to know.
The whole "What a mess we made when it all went wrong" then you see Big Boss burning the soldiers foretells his destruction of MB and the soldiers. Basically Big Bosses plan of having a doppelgänger went wrong and he had to destroy 9 years worth of work.

Garbage's lyrics of "everything's a lie" is right there lol.
I think the woman saying "V has come to" is quiet at the hospital to Zero.
 
Went back into GZ to re-familiarize myself with the game's control scheme and paying attention to the post result screen cutscene the medic shenanigans are really blatant, there's the voice obviously, but it goes to some painful lengths to obscure his face from the camera the entire time.

Yup. The game literally does everything it can to make sure his face isn't shown.

Question. When the other helicopter crashes into the one Snake is on. Does the medic jump in front of Snake in order to shield him from the blast.

I know that, saw the model dumps, I'm more musing on how one doesn't notice just how hard it tries to hide his face until you're going back and looking for it since it really is quite blatant.
 
I said this earlier in the thread.

But Kojima stated during an interview at GDC or Gamescom. that Big Boss has only been in a coma once and that was during the LET project. clearly TPP contradicts this info.

Now either Kojima is lying OR we aren't playing as Big Boss.

There's supposedly a torture sequence with Quiet and you can either step in to stop it, encourage them a ltitle or go overboard and potentially kill her. Apart from the fact you can apparently change her uniform once she's a buddy, her initial level of "exposure" is supposedly initially defined by how much she is tortured during this sequence.

When whatever big plot twist has happened and the characters are in some modicum of shellshock I just want the music to fade out and Bowie to start playing...

I know Kojima used the midge ure version but...Bowie > Ure...
 
So I think the lyrics to the Garbage song are actually the plot of the game. Like Kojima heard the song and used it as a plot outline. There are references to language causing people to fight, building an army, sleeping, lying, demons, etc.
