Last night I gave in to the hype and bought Phantom Pain 2 hours before it was released, so I could get the bonus stuff. Why? No idea, I still haven't finished Portable Ops nor played the ones that came after it. Plus my PC can't run it (it couldn't run Ground Zeroes either, and I had purchased it in the Summer Sale).

This is the first time I impulse buy a $60 game. One that I'm not even going to play for a long time. I hate myself now

One is the video, but there's no DLC tab on Steam.Other should be Mother Base 3 DLC and some useless stuff like skins etc.

yeah, we definitely have a problem (I blame Jasec, of course), but I wouldn't go as far as celebrating it. We need much better solution, only I have no idea what that solution could be, seeing as trying not to buy doesn't do much, does it?

It has its own Free on Demand sub. The devs of Ride did the same thing (advertised a video as a pre-purchase incentive but released it separately for free).

Edit: Oh, wait, it has the MustOwnAppToPurchase flag. Trust Konami to go about something in a stupid way.

Edit^2: Ah, Ride's video is set up similarly. At least Konami wasn't the first to do it, unlike that other thing. Valve needs to add a "This content requires ..." notice to video pages.

you have to search for metal gear solid legacy and then if you own TPP you can click watch which will then put it in your library in the "video" section

But no really, am actually disappointed that there aren't more GameWorks effects in there. Having had an Nvidia card for a long time, and likely going for one when I upgrade, I like the future-proofing it provides for games even if you can't run them all at max and all that jazz.

You know for a moment before I left the house this morning I dithered about installing Max Mad over MGSV. Don't think they will go well together back to back though so Maximilian might have to wait a while until I get to his Mad adventures.

Wished more and more games just shipped with simulation pause and free camera modes as fucking loads of debuggers have them (and we used to have access to them via console commands) as it's awesome for screenshotting. That's a couple of PC versions from PC centric developers that have been an exponential leap over their console counter parts now (Ryse, Alien Isolation, Mordor, maybe a few others). Guessing Open World CPU load as a possibility so benches would be nice to see.

HUD customization in options would be nice for people who like to play games without HUD. But for screenshots Capture Mode is awesome. You have free cam and camera settings + filters. Also they included Video mode where you can set up camera settings and record your gameplay and if you use additional gamepad second person can control camera during gameplay

You can notice mediocre textures in the end this was cross-gen title for a long time and Ultra textures for PC + additional AA options would be nice. But all in all Avalanche did awesome job from technical standpoint.

of course it is! I wouldn't lie, also be prepared to miss shitload of stuff, that's like IF's trademark, they like hiding and complicating things.
