I took it to mean he was drawing attention to it since no one else noticed itThe end of the scene where quiet finds the necklace in the acidic gas, Kaz uses his crutch to feel around for the necklace on the floor like a blind man. Strange.

Kojima retweeted this too:
Now that you've played "a bit" of #MGSVTPP, tell us which is your favourite buddy?

So the after credits conversation between Miller and ocelot implies that ocelot was the one that kills Miller before mgs1?

Kitatus and I are not sure if they're talking about MGO; But it's a super weird thing to post "A bit" as if this is only a piece of it - Especially with all this cut content flying around everywhere.
Oh okay, I thought one of them said that they might have to kill each other some day. Thanks.I wouldn't read too much into that.
Most people don't have the time to power through a 60 hour game in less than a week.
No, it was simply explaining why Miller breaks off from Big Boss and joins Solid Snake.
I really doubt it. MGS2's twist was hated for a while because it wasn't what people expected, but the story was well told and there was a meaning behind it so people came to love it.It's MGS2 all over again.
It'll take years for the dust to settle before people recognize the masterpiece.

Honestly, it's not so much the (unnecessary) twist as story threads generally falling apart or being poorly executed that has soured me on the narrative side.
Another thing I liked, after the ashes cutscene, there's an actual diamond in the bottom of the diamond dogs logo on your clothing. Nice touch.
No it definitely implies Ocelot kills Miller. Ocelot says they will become enemies if he joins Cipher. Miller says he is fine with it and that he is ready for the new age but in the meantime him and Ocelot should coexist.
Doesn't Liquid out right say he kills Miller in MGS1?
Or am I misremembering things.
Some specialists are only available in missions. Don't forget to check the top right of the mission select screen to see who's available where.

Yes it unlocked thank youTry to click through all the yellow casettes if you have any.
Where the hell was Gray Fox Kojima?
Kojima!
Where the hell was Gray Fox Kojima?
Kojima!
Went back to the game for the first time since finishing it tonight.
As I suspected, I think I'm done with the game for now. I still enjoy the hell out of the core gameplay loop. I just have absolutely zero motivation to continue any Mother Base development or Side Ops content. It's disappointing that that's a consequence of the narrative choices rather than the gameplay running out of steam. I don't feel like I want to stop yet, but lack a motivation to continue. Like I have unfinished business with the game despite finishing the story and playing it for 64 hours.
When does MGO launch? Right now that sounds like the perfect solution.
Considering how confusing it's going to be with the entire situation of "Big Boss" finding Naomi in the late 1980's and which Big Boss they actually were with, I'm guessing Kojima decided that having Gray Fox be with Venom would be a bridge too far or something.
or he forgot.
or the more probabible solution is this game was clearly never about a bridge between PW and MG and the foxhound unit and we all got our hopes up for nothing![]()

I think Naomi and Frank were found by the real Big Boss. After all, Naomi says he brought them to America, which would make sense if Big Boss returned there to command FOXHOUND. I believe the phantom never went back to America, but stayed in Africa to handle the Outer Heaven fortress.
NOW, my fear is... Which Big Boss actually rescued Sniper Wolf...? For the love of God, I hope it was the real one...
As I said in another thread, this game had the perfect setup to find an orphaned girl in Afghanistan that interacts with Quiet and DD. It can't be more cheesy than having adorable cutscenes with the sniper and the wolf buddy that turn tge girl into the direction of her future.NOW, my fear is... They both are the real Big Boss after a certain point, so it doesn't matter.

People hate this twist because it's poorly told, and ultimately has very little meaning.

Sometimes a story can be confused as being poorly told when it actually has a wealth of critical value....
From what I can tell not a soul has even mentioned the heavy connections and implications MGSV makes to Post-colonial theory?
Then tell us what those connections are. I'd really love to be proven wrong, honestly.Sometimes a story can be confused as being poorly told when it actually has a wealth of critical value....

No. Only one of them is the real Big Boss, which is the man we met in MG2:SS and the ending of MGS4. The other is "the phantom".

The phantom who you play MGSV as. I'm getting pretty attached to Venom's experiences myself considering the buddy system. I'd be fine with him being the one who saved Sniper Wolf.
Yes, see I've also finished the game.
However, Big Boss said that in the end it doesn't matter, the two built up the legend together, so they are both Big Boss. The phantom has the same memories and acts exactly the same as Big Boss and turns out to be the main villain of Metal Gear 1 anyways. So why does it really matter which Big Boss does what in the end?
