Alright, cool. I feel really guilty for reading this but ehhhhh, I really don't want to continue playing the game. I figured that you were not really playing as Snake, and I also assumed Eli was Liquid since they first revealed him years back.

that the big twist is supposed to mean that since you've played all Metal Gear games and are the stealth master, you're the one who's become the legend of Big Boss.
It falls flat on many aspects, including the fact that the real Big Boss is off actually doing important stuff.

This is why MGS is my favourite franchise. I have played MGS 1, 2, 3, 4 and Peace Walker, and while I did get most of the refernces in the tapes and such......I still have no idea what the fuck is going on. And I fucking love every second of it. Some games are 90% Game, 10% plot twist. Kojima games are 90% twist, 10% inexplainable brilliance of utter insanity. So Big Boss used the random Outher Heaven soldier in the chopper as a decoy? Setting off to create the nation that Solid Snake invades in the first Metal Gear? Or was it the fake Boss' idea? What the hell did Liquid do with the Metal Gear? Where was Solid Snake during all of this? Why was Huey a conniving pice of shit that he betrayed everybody two times over, murdered Strangelove and used his son as a test subject? I didn't remember him being such a dick in PW? Why were Ocelot and Miller fighting in the end?

No other series is so utter bonkers, yet fucking genious at the same time. I think i'll need a proper day in order for my mind to pick itself up. And I love it. All of it.

P.S Really guys, can someone explain what happened to me? Or maybe link to a good fleshed out essay that describes the ending?
