It doesn't appear it's live yet on PSN still. Xbox users can get it, though, not sure where exactly.

Still waiting for this extremely slow download. When you have me download 17 gigs and then talk about how players won't be kicked out of missions for the update I'm not expecting to have to wait 40 minutes to log in.
Anyway, no word on the subclass quest? I hope it's not buried at the end of the new missions I want to turn in my quests with it active.

Decided to finally take the plunge and dive into this and picked it up for the first time. Time to do some reading while I download the full updates on my PS4
Can somebody PLEASE try out the character boost and tell us if it also levels up subclasses?
I wish I could. one of the subclasses got ONE upgrade from the boost. but honestly I don't remember if I logged out with the upgrade not done or if it came from the level ups

It doesn't. I used mine, level 25, no experience to my subclass, weapons and whatnot though. You get a set of level 25 blues for all slots.

just tried it on a newbie warlock it gives base weapons and armor tho

Better storytelling in the first ten minutes than in the entire base game. Cutscenes are great so far.
This is the main reason I didn't go full obsessive with edging and packages. Why bother racing to the end when this is brand-new content for Destiny? Level 40 will be there, it's not going anywhere.
Seriously, holy shit. Already better than any mission before it.
It will only work if you buy the legendary edition for 60. Because DLC is region locked it won't work with your Asian Destiny
