...a love ballad ?

"Nobody Does It Better" is a love ballad and it's one of the best Bond themes ever.
...a love ballad ?
Really ?
Man that made Duran Duran seem straight up straight. The song makes me imagine Bond crying over his favorite broken ceramic garden gnome. It makes me think off Bond scraping the gold off of that girl in Goldfinger, and wearing her gold paint under his toenails from her dead body in memory for years. It makes me imagine that Bond replaced his pelvic bones with the teeth of the enemies he was most sexually attracted to. I am just thinking that the likes of Carly Simon are tougher bad ass spies then Sam Smith.
I loved Another Way to Die, dunno why it gets so much hate.So much hate for Another Way to Die.
I liked it, a good mix of innovation and classic Bond tropes, just like the movie. But also just like the movie, most people just want the same thing over and over instead.
Also dat Woolly Mammoth guitar pedal sound.
Well....It's better than the QoS one?
It's amazing how far ahead Cornell's track is from every Craig-era Bong theme song.
Chorus lyrics are out!
Writing's on the wall,
When it crumbles,
We will stand tall,
Face it all together
Writing's on the wall,
When it crumbles,
We will stand tall,
Face it all together
At wordwall,
At wordwall
all build up and pretty much no pay off at all
Is anyone besides Chris Cornell going to attempt to put some effort into the lyrics so they better fit the theme and mood of their respective movie?
I normally like Smith's vocals, but he's overly whiny here. Not a good theme.
I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as most of the later Roger Moore themes or the Brosnan theme's sans Goldeneye.
Just bring back Adele please.
Yuck
"How do I live, how to I breathe"
The lyrics and singing suck.
I mean, it's not like they didn't try. They offered her £5 million.
