Not sure what answer is, but regardless of how pacifist anyone's views are, no western government can allow terrorist organization to kill scores of innocent people on a whim.
I expect the military response will be swift and firm. I just hope its terrorist infrastructure that bears the overwhelming brunt of the assault, especially the leadership.
