77? not that amazing.

It does 140 damage on first strike + sneakbonus it does 280 damage, there has been nothing so far that I can't 1 or 2 shot with it, and that's before the perks.

Are you harvesting cell ammo? I need some badly.

Is there a vendor or location where I can find these?

Just a lot of encounters with synths + the fact that my gun basically 1 shots anything with a body shot makes me really ammo efficient = swimming in fusion cells.

I keep seeing the argument of consistent income but I don't like buy anything in this game. I've found 99% of the shit I own. I even have a surplus of chems I never use that I have stored in my workshop.

Whats considered automatic? Any thing that shoots continually withe trigger held? I have a shotgun with a high rate of fire, but I need to continously tap R2.
Yes. "Automatic receiver" makes it use 'Commando', yours falls under 'Rifleman'. I can really recommend to make a "long barrel" combat shotgun (see picture above). I use it for 40h+ already and I will probably keep using it until the end of the game, unless I find the same weapon with a legendary affix.

My armor hoarding is getting out of control. I need to find me a new shed.

When you activate House Party Protocol it's going to crash the game.

Man, as someone who runs through NV every year and 3 every other, I am just not having fun with this at all

1) i can't beat the boss at lvl 18 at the Castle (Independence mission)

2) randos kill me easy. Especially if they're mutants

3) i have zero interest building settlements though the game feels like it's punishing me for not doing so by a) making it hard for me to find first aid and b) having enemies attack and kill settlers

4) i have no idea what to do in general. The fun in Exploring is moot when I'm dying out there. I have strong guns i randonly found (gamma) but am limited in ammo

I thought since you mentioned NV you would bring some legit concerns here about the dialogue or somewhere were NV is actually better but really these are your complaints?

1. I beat the boss at lvl 16 since you know where she spawns fill it with landmines they take 50% of her hp right away then just throw grenades at her.

2. Get better armour or something.

3. I am not doing the settlements either and have 150 stimpacks don't find any problem in the game you can ignore settlements there is no punishment.

4. Again the whole post screams lower the difficulty since you can't handle.

Hahaha, those Protectrons, I just love them. You can actually set their personality. One time I set it as Law Enforcement and when I tried talking to him he said "move along citizen" and when I set him as medical worker he said "please remain calm if you're injured". I just love attention to detail.

Anybody know a way of making raiders attack Sanctuary? I set up tons of defences and I want to try them out, but 40 hours in nobody has messed with it.

Also despite having tons of food and water and shops my happiness keeps dropping. It was at 90% and now it keeps dropping down to 60

Love this game, but the absolute worst part is that when I fast travel, by the time the new area has loaded, any pop-up about a settlement being attacked vanishes almost instantly from the top left. If I'm not staring at the top left of the screen every time it loads I basically miss where I have to protect.

That better be patched.

I set one to Subway Steward and it attacked me for not having a subway token. Then several hours later, I found several subway tokens. I have yet to see what one will say when I have the tokens on me.

Also, does the number of stuff you can craft in the workshop ever expand, or are you limited to what you start with? I've been spending way too many hours basebuilding and sometimes it feels like the variety of stuff you can build is a bit lacking.

Just finished this quest
finding Erin's cat
and saw the message "Cait idolizes you" pop up. Cait stops me to have a little chat. I get the romance option and completely failed it. After being told I reached maximum companionship with her, I stop her and ask her about our relationship. She says "there's nothing better than wandering the Commonwealth with her best friend."

tldr: I got friendzoned ;____;

Wanting to build a fortress using the shack foundation as walls, anyone know a good open space with possibly a good view? Tempted to build at the Castle.

Concord

That Deathclaw kind of sucks. It's early and it punishes certain character builds. I went all INT and perception, trying to build a mutant brain character that leverages his vast intellect while relying on companions for force. As far as I can see there is no way to beat the Deathclaw other than direct confrontation. And I get melted pretty quickly since I'm playing Survival. It reminds me of that first boss fight in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Totally skewed toward shootbang characters.

I hope the settlement stuff gets cleaned up and expanded on in patches/DLC. I really want to get into it more but too much of it is clunky and fickle.

Also, there really needs to be a way to lock weapons/armor (and everything?) so that they can't be accidentally scrapped. I was going a little too fast at my weapon bench and scrapped one of my favorited guns. It shouldn't simply be the same prompt as scrapping anything else. Fortunately it was just a plain old gun that I'd left favorited despite not using in a long time, so no big deal.

I killed some Gunner in power armor and before she died she climbed out of it so now any time I try to go in to the power armor it counts as stolen. Anyway to fix this or is it just gonna be like that?

I also have yet to defend a settlement because I never see the message that they're being attacked, I just see that I failed to defend it. RIP Abernathys

It's like that. As far as I've experienced anyways.

Well I had to answer myself, but for those who care

1) Blitz 100% affects unarmed. Not just melee
2) Strength 100% affect unarmed damage

At level 20 my Stealth/Silencer combo is finally working in HARD mode. Surprised how rewarding the crafting is and how powerful everything can be made.
My past as a glas canon is over!

Anyone else surprised at how civilized the Commonwealth is?

Hmm.. i dunno if civilized would be the right word for my game. It seems that a lot of the places i visit have tons of dead bodies already. I am assuming its the "ecosystem" having people killing each other... but complete areas are just wiped out. Its kinda scary.

I didnt help :P I didnt know who was who so i just watched them fight it out.
Best Art won.

I was going to let them duke it out but I ended up helping one of them.
I wonder if this comes back to me later in the game. (If you answer this please just say Yes or No ).

People give Bethesda waaaaay too much shit for writing. Some of the characters in this game are golden.
Nick Valentine
in particular. Best Fallout companion ever.
Yeah, I'm actually enjoying the characters and story in this one. Way better than Fallout 3, and Skyrim. I wish there were more ways to approach things and better dialogue options like New Vegas, but it is what it is and I'm enjoying it.

Yeah, I'm really liking the settlement building, but it's clunky as hell.

Trashcan Carla's beast is stuck on my roof. I can't figure out any way to get it down.

Haha, maybe build some stairs?

I had some fun finally solving this. Stairs don't quite reach the upper part of the house, and I eventually figured out the brahmin can't seem to walk them anyway. But I climbed up and slowly beat the brahmin with a walking cane. Had to stay hidden and do low damage to avoid upsetting the animal or the settlers, but with most hits it would move a few inches away. Just keep doing that til it finally dropped to the next tier, then again off the house. Then it promptly bolted and ran out of Sanctuary, hah.

I had the exact same thing happening to me, but I did have a token on me. He just screamed that there was violent behaviour and started blasting me. Crazy robot, haha. Maybe that was a bug. Actually... I am in a super duper mart anyway now, I will try it out with this Protectron and let you know.
