I was a little iffie buying it so far in advance of them actually showing what was going to be in the pass itself but now I'm glad I did. I knew it was only a matter of time until psn raised the price on it since it was already $40 on Steam and Xbox live

Keep the envelope, write "return to sender" on it and drop it in a mailbox.
An Amazon CSR recommended that procedure to avoid paying shipping for returns.

Really? I'm not normally an MP type of person (I find them time consuming with way too many options given my backlog already), but I really am enjoying battlefront. It's super accessible. I could see myself putting in 2-3 hours a week for the next few months without "falling behind" to ridiculously over skilled over practiced players.

Fuck Canada Post. I have two missing packages from them now. There's no keys in my community mailbox so either they fucked up there or they lost the packages. I've recently received a bunch of mail from different addresses so I'm thinking they delivered it to another person. It's been 3 days since it was marked "delivered" so I assume if someone else received it they aren't returning it by now.
It's even more annoying that the Canada Post support website doesn't list an email/phone number and doesn't let you create a support ticket if your package was marked as delivered in their system. Going to go to a local post office and ask about it today after work but I don't think they'll be able to do anything at this point (unless they somehow didn't put the keys in my community mailbox to access the packages).
So pissed off right now. Basically out $170 in purchases because of their fuck up. I'm horrified to think what would have happened assuming I bought something worth more. Not sure what I'm supposed to do, or if it's even possible to get refunds or a reshipment.

If they are nearby, try to ask them about your package then give them their missing mails I guess?
But when I return something don't I need to print out a sheet of paper or something and include it? All that's in the envelope is the game, will the shipping address be enough for them to know it's mine?

Returns with Amazon are free if done within the 30 days period (never been charged). Just open up a chat with a csr and ask to return a product.
You should contact the seller to report that your package is lost, they should be the one taking care of the claim and refunding/replacing your product.

Was it a big box store? I've heard they can reprint receipts or look up by credit or debit card.

While I ended up pre-ordering Odin Sphere's Storybook edition, I only really care about the art book, so I think I'll drop down to a regular edition. $20 saved can always help with the deluge of other games coming out next year.

I know how you feel. I've been forcing myself to only check periodically, but every hour I still end up on Amazon searching. The addiction is strong.
For anyone who has canceled an E3 preorder and is living with regret:
I did a live chat with an Amazon employee this morning and had them restore my Xenoblade Chronicles X preorder. I ordered it during E3 but removed it at some point, but after hearing good impressions of the NA release I decided I want to give it a go. Told them I canceled it by mistake and was hoping to have the E3 deal applied again. He couldn't restore my previous order, but had me make a new one and did the discount manually.
...Obviously it's not the heavy discount the rest of you who kept your preorder are getting, but it's something!

I did that for Yoshi's Woolly World too. The first 3 CSR didn't want to apply the E3 discount. The 4th one did without having to argue. Go figure...
