After reading it she asked me if I could place the order. I placed the order for Overwatch, but forgot to add a second item to the order and was in the middle of writing out that I needed to place a second order for the promotion to be valid (yes, I was actually doing this because I did actually want to add Resident Evil 0 and 1 for the PS4 to the order), but she still did the 30% off discount and the base price for the CE dropped to $118.30. The $20 promo from TP kicked in, so the adjusted price before taxes was $98.30 giving me a grand total of $111.08 after all was said and done. I also did the order with my ebates link so I'm hoping that I'll get some cashback on it too.

I then noticed that my e3 order of final fantasy VII PS4 remake lost the promo discount (i assume because I had cancelled an order without realizing that it would affect it), so I asked her if she could fix it for me. She had to manually change the price, and ended up changing it a bit too much. It went from 79.99 to 39.02.

This is why I don't really mind if amazon.ca ships things to me late. I can live with it as long as stuff like this keeps happening lol

edit: jeebus, I just noticed another of my e3 orders lost its 30% off discount, this time for doom and star ocean. what in the world?

The only other thing I can think of then is canning one of the amazon orders and redoing it on best buy.

Did with with Overwatch PC, since I imagine the 40 USD digital will be either 49.99 CAD or 54.99, and discount on overwatch pc physical puts it at 56, so it seems relatively close.

I'm still torn between which Odin Sphere to get, PS4 or Vita. That price difference is huge for Vita...

Is getting it in HD really worth a whole extra ~$20? $43.51 vs $63.28.

I just found out we are still getting the Vita version after all even if it's going to be digital only. I think I'll just go with that instead since it was made for the Vita first then ported up to ps4.
 
The Lunar White Xbox One controller is sold out online on BestBuy's site. However, it has the option to reserve in store.

Does this mean I can get the same price in store? Aren't Cyber Monday deals exclusively online?

Hey Chewie. Yes, It's like on the same day when the flyer turns over to a new flyer. If you reserve an item online before the flyer sale expires, and get the confirmation that same day, you can go into the store following day, even if the price is higher, because you have the confirmation from the day before of reserve ready for pick up when it was on sale.

Great, thanks. I almost never order online so I'm not accustomed to this stuff.

It sucks that I'll have to make a trip out to the store tomorrow or the next day, but it is what it is. At least I don't have to worry about it getting damaged by being packed with limited protection for transit.

It seems I can pre-order everything from Best Buys page except World of Warcraft Legion regular edition for some reason? I can add the CE to my cart just fine, but it says that for the normal edition it can't be shipped to my location (Ottawa)?

The cart says "can't ship to your region" (no matter the region), but at the top it says error 0107. I called their support line and they said that means it's sold out and they can't provide any more, and the rep couldn't do anything about it, so it seems the non CE is out of the deal.

BTW (I should have asked the rep), this Best Buy deal I assume that it doesn't charge my CC until it is shipped? So since I'm pre ordering stuff spread all across 2016 the payments will be staggered?

Bah, I keep getting bounced when trying to get Best Buy to combine my Xenoblade SE order with the existing one from today to apply the 30% discount to that thing too.

I wish I had the same luck other people seemed to have had.
 
So Best Buy took down their FFVIIR post? That sucks, I was thinking on moving all my Amazon pre-orders to BB. For Amazon I must keep at least 3 games pre-ordered to qualify for the E3 price I got back in July, correct?

Wait, people are able to combine their BB 30% off orders?
 
I'm at 50/50 with shipped games off their trays with Best Buy, so I'm done with them as long as Amazon offers comparable deals.
 
Best Buy literally couldn't make it harder to modify payment info. The website option never works. You can't change to PayPal after you place an order, even if you call. I called just now to modify the credit card, but they wouldn't do it. I used my dad's credit card because I wasn't able to have a credit card when I first pre-ordered the games, and they stupidly don't accept Visa Debit. When they asked for my info, I said shipping info first, but then switched to billing. Well, the CSR asked if I was the one who owns the credit card, and I said no. She wouldn't let me change the info, even though the account is mine and order is mine. I could have been potentially adding my own credit card instead of my dad's, but she didn't care. Now I have to call back and not give a hint that I am not my dad just to make sure I can keep $45 Xenoblade X.
 
Is there a list out there of games that have been added to Amazon since the E3 deal?

Currently got Overwatch, World of Final Fantasy and FFVIIR
ordered it during E3 but because I know it will probably come out after every other pre-orderable game I can keep this deal
in my cart.

Quantum break, if you have an X1. They've had it up, it was just never available for pre order. Far Cry Primal as well.

I am not actually sure, anymore. I TRIED to combine my standalone Xenoblade X SE order with my larger order from today, so that I could take advantage of the 30% off for the Xenoblade thing.

They said it was policy that they needed the cardholder of the current card on the account to update the information. I don't understand the point of that, as anyone could update the payment info if their site worked, or just pose as them on the phone. There is no verification in place.

Anyways, I called back and got a different CSR. My 3 orders are now updated, and I should be good until the middle of 2017. I doubt FF XV and KH III will be out by then.

I called them to take advantage of the 30% off too. The Rep wouldn't give me 30% off of the 15% off I already have on my order (understandable but I had to try :P), but she's going to give me another 15% off to make it an even 30% off discount. I'm just waiting for the confirmation phone call now.

i want to join in this preorder craze but i dont know what to get

do you need to have played any of the previous FE/DQ games for the new ones?

I don't think so. I haven't played DQ and I'm still stuck on the very first FE for GBA, but DQ is like Final Fantasy I think, where each mainline title is a different story with new characters, etc. Same with the most recent FE titles like awakening. fates has connections between the two titles i think. Someone else more versed in the games can correct me if i'm mistaken

No. They are all independent. About Fire Emblem Fates, Conquest and Birthright are two sides of the same story.

Legacy consoles are in high demand these days. They make great emulator players :P Seriously though, does Bestbuy show any in-store stock on the website? i'm only seeing inflated price options on Amazon. Call up your local EB and see if they have any new or used ones left.

Amazon never charged me before shipping. I guess it depends on your credit card and credit history.
