Greenmangaming: 25% off code for pre-ordering 2016 most anticipated games

I'll wait until these games come out and have performance analyses done. Batman AK made sure I'll never preorder another PC game again. Fool me once...

Meh... Probably going to do Xcom. I don't like the idea of preordering, but it's a worthwhile discount on a game I'm pretty well certain will be good on PC (Given that it's the only platform).

They usually apply this discount with selected titles only. For example you couldn't apply any code with Black Ops 3 pre-order.

Can only apply this to the games in that list too though. For example Dark Souls 3 isn't in the list, and it'd be hard to argue it's not more anticipated than say, Battleborn or Resident Evil 0.

So yeah it's just the usual GMG code for preordering.

dat deus ex looks awfully tempting at €37,50 tho.

but that would be kinda hypocritical of me since i dislike the whole pre-order culture unless maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe it's a limited/collector's edition that otherwise quickly sells out.

After pre-ordering Arkham Knight I'm mostly done with pre-ordering PC games
Still pre-ordered Dragon's Dogma though

I've heard only great things about DD's PC version so far.

While I'm fairly convinced the game will be incredible I have some slight concerns about bugs in XCOM 2 due to the preview footage. But hopefully the delay gave them time to deal with bugs and I highly doubt there's any chance of performance issues.

I'm not pre-ordering Dragon's Dogma. I have a suspicion that it's going to be locked to 16:9 aspect ratio.
When the game comes out, GMG is still going to have a 23% discount something code and you can buy it after it is ruled a good port or mods fix it.

Isn't that the standard GMG discount?

For a while, 25% used to be the de facto discount available most of the time, however in recent months the codes they always display on their site usually max at 20%, and they have more limited 23% or less frequent 25% off offers like this. I never pre-order anything for less than 25% off from them. If you wait long enough a code will come around.

They did send out a 26% off SFV code back in September to email subscribers, but that was before anyone saw the PC beta. There hasn't been a 25% off SFV after that until now.

This. I think I'm done with GMG until further notice after that.

FWIW, they send out SFV and Dragon's Dogma codes immediately.

They get their codes from Capcom directly. I mostly use them when I pre-order Capcom PC games and they were all timely.

I like to think I am in a place in my life that saving $15 or so isn't worth the possible headaches of a broken/bad game, no matter how much I want it (and boy do I want XCOM2). CAG culture really messed me up. Gonna try and hold out to see impressions on release first.

It's not like they won't hold a 20-30% off discount within a month after release. You're almost always better off waiting until after release on PC.

Came into this thread ready to complain that Dragon's Dogma wasn't on this list, but, I'm happy to be wrong as shit!

Yeah, unless you really, really want to play it on release date, waiting is a very viable solution. Especially with how fast games drop in price on PC.

I'm sure my PC can't handle Dragon's Dogma, otherwise I'd be pretty tempted.

If you're in the UK, I think the cheapest place to get Dragon's Dogma would be Funstock. There's a 5% off coupon floating around, too.

The cheapest place is ShopTo @ £13.85, though it is a retail copy (still Steam) and has no pre-order bonuses.
Though whether you trust them is up to you (I know its a banned site here.)

Funstock digital also has a flat discount on a bunch of 2016 games, plus a 5% discount with DEC-COUPAW-SMART5. Their base discount varies from game to game, but Xcom 2 comes to $39.42 after the coupon. They've had problems with delivering keys late (site went down during Fallout 4's release and keys weren't mailed out, so it took me an extra day or two to get my key) so take that with a grain of salt if you're dying to play it the second it releases.
