Because once you open the face mask to expose the mouth/face it falls apart. It was stupid looking in Dark Knight and it'd be dumb here. Panther, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Deadpool all work because you can't see their face.

If it is, end of May. Civil War kicks off the summer movie season.
July. It's also right after Captain America. Which should be interesting to see how that plays out. X-men could cut Captain America's legs off since they're so close.
Edit: Sorry. X-men is May 27. CA is May 6th. That's damn close.

It doesn't have to do better. People were talking about BvS and CA taking money from each other when they were releasing so close together. BvS has an entire month to itself. CA has what maybe a little over 2 weeks before X-men hits.

Don't worry, from what Snyder personally told me, there's a 20 minute intro to that scene where Superman ferries off everyone and double checks to see no one is within a 20 block radius.

Because that's what the movie is. Everyone knew Supes and Bats would be friends after this movie. It's not a big secret.
People just want to see them fight and people want to see the Trinity on the big screen finally.
