Controversial Opinion: Christian Bale's BATMAN BEGINS (NOTE: BATMAN BEGINS) Bat Voice is better than this Robo thing they're doing with Affleck.

It still weird me out that we haven't seen a live action Batman do the Kevin Conroy thing and just make the voices sound different through acting

christian bale was closest but was so damn throaty that it limited what he could say without sounding like a goof

I always hear "bread" instead of "bleed." I'm not sure why. I just really really really want him to ask Superman, "tell me, do you bread?"
It makes me giggle.

I'm an idiot.

This film continues to be nothing that I really want to see from my batman/superman stories. I don't like to indulge in fan whining, and I know, every story can be good, wait for the movie, etc, etc. Yeah, I know, but still.

I just don't go for the Miller machismo dickmeasuring "You better stop or I'll kick your ass" "No, I'm gonna kick your ass" bullshit. Batman vs Superman is a compelling narrative when these two are reluctant to fight one another. Honestly, these two are at their most compelling when they're bro's, if anything, but if they have to fight, I want it framed in a juxtaposition of tragedy and awe. This is trying it's hardest to capture the awe part, but having nothing that creates a bond between the two makes the conflict just a light show of effects for me. Which might be fine, but it can be so much more. Bah.

Man, I never thought I'd say this about Snyder's Batman but he just doesn't come across as cool in this scene. There's no sense of presence. It feels like Superman is talking down to a child.

All I can do is hope it's deliberately shot that way for some greater purpose.

Yeah Cavill's delivery was terrible. If that was the take they went with, I wonder how bad the others were. That being said I did like the line itself.

Now it makes sense why he turns on the bat signal while wearing the bat armor, which I'm guessing is their second confrontation.

This is so bad. DCU is finished most likely.

In a way, Supes is talking to a child.

That Batman voice is terrible. What are they going for? ADR for Superman sounds off too.

Twist: he's playing one of superman's silver age duplicate robots!

Thing is, I could actually see that sorta crazy horseshit getting introduced in this universe, too.

The hero not being able to deliver a line convincingly isn't shaking me from my belief that Zack Snyder & Chris Terrio just made a 200 million dollar episode of Arrow, though.
