That isn't Spider-Girl at all, it looks to me like it's Spider-Woman? Just with brown hair instead of black. That new webbing piece is fantastic.
Wonder if its possible that the figure is a place holder instead of Spider-Gwen?

I understood the truck was an alternate build?Yeah, the excavator has to be the $350 one. The fact that it supposedly comes with a dump truck too and power functions would increase the cost of the set.
I dunno, she has a unique torso doesn't she? Or is it just the same as the Iron Spider?
Also people don't seem to be talking about the new fire mould that's around the Pumpkin Bomb the Green Goblin is holding? Is that the new flame piece they're gonna use for Ghost Rider?
Edit: Upon closer inspection it looks like a fire mohawk? I bet that's how they're gonna do Ghost Rider. Awesome! Can't wait for pictures of that set to leak so we can find out for sure.
Got my Silver Centurion! Awwww yeah
and what are the odds service will be quicker versus just getting the missing pieces from Bricks & Pieces directly? i'm about to put my order in

zusammengebaut.com are getting hammered, but they post on Twitter.
Glimpse of the park set
Figured most people had worked this out already, but the Spider-Girl is actually Ultimate Spider-Woman Jessica Drew.

I hope you enjoy it. 8089 looks to be a pretty fun set as well.I rewatched episode III over the weekend with my 4 year old and that sparked my interest in picking up this set. Coincidentally someone was selling one locally on Craigslist for a good price. I grabbed 8089 Hoth Wampa Cave too.
I don't understand the why LEGO wanted the Brickset articless taken down. Seems like they could have asked LEGO blogs before the toy fair. Very curious on the reason.
It's probably (whether rightly or wrongly) simply about having the control over your own product cycles. However positive the feedback might be, LEGO may not want a significant amount of information diminishing from any excitement people might have for its most current products. You see a similarly heavy-handed approach to leaked information from Wizards of the Coast in respect to the Magic: The Gathering card game.
It's also fucking stupid. The people who read Brickset news are the people who put in orders at 00:05 on the 1st every month.
It's also fucking stupid. The people who read Brickset news are the people who put in orders at 00:05 on the 1st every month and then wait eagerly for the next release night. I've already bought pretty much all I'm interested in until March. Hiding the summer Nexo Knights sets isn't going to make me buy Fortrex just to spend my time.
For a company with such a presence among fans, they can be absurdly clueless.
Eh not a fan of that pattern. Looks kinda ugly actually. It isn't quite as epic as the initial description, but it is still leagues better than most super hero play sets around that price. And oh, the figures.
Now to impatiently wait for Jack-O-Lantern and Mysterio figures.
EDIT: They say its not the final pattern, but it is still a cool model:

Back pic, didn't know it came with a printed plate for the back. It's a two stud back, probably a re-colored piece like the lex armor from that fig. I don't have it I so I don't know for sure but they look alike. It's interesting because you could probably moc some cool thrusters or something for the piece if you wanted.

Got back with my exclusive iron man fig.

Yes, that is Vulture and the white fig is White Tiger. Is that Vulture I spot at the bottom middle of this pic? Can anyone ID the white character on the bottom? Has a black pony tail and white costume.

Seems the fig is based off the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon line, so that's where I'd start. It's a little different than her comic book version.Cool beans. I am not familiar with White Tiger. Off for some research!
Those Volcano sets are truly terrible.
I believe someone pointed out in the old thread it's a Chima armor piece.

I'm not a car person, but read in some comments it's used to hide car curves/features before car makers do a public release.
I think that Excavator may be my first Technic purchase.

About this, I've read a couple of times people saying that they had used Brick & pieces instead of Pick a brick because the selection was larger. Can you actually order anything from Brick & pieces?versus just getting the missing pieces from Bricks & Pieces directly?
