Brickset had to take down all articles about upcoming sets due to Lego not liking what they reported.
What the heck? Lego, that is not a good look...

What... that is censorship isn't it?Brickset had to take down all articles about upcoming sets due to Lego not liking what they reported.
This makes no sense ughBrickset had to take down all articles about upcoming sets due to Lego not liking what they reported.

Has Brickset communicated what specifically LEGO said to them?

If anyone has the original Brickset Toy Fair reports and can PM them to me, it would be appreciated. I have a plane to catch, but will be back later to see what I can recover from their hard work.

In the meantime:
Volcano stuff = meh (censor _this_, Lego!)
Excavator = holy shit! Could that possibly be the biggest Technic set ever?
Capitol = all that sexy sand green
Friends = most pointless "rollercoaster" ever? I guess the Futuron monorail was a rollercoaster too?
Huw Millington (Brickset's owner): "It appears that Lego did not like the detail that we reported and asked for the articles to be deleted. I am now in its bad books..."
Spidey bridge is ok. I know we are getting a weird angle shot, but it doesn't live up to the hype for me
And just think of the extra money they could make off of you by making a K.A.R.R. alternate.
EDIT: They say its not the final pattern, but it is still a cool model:
Cool model but not $350 cool. Not even close.
Just saw the YouTube video of the BWE in action (on my ipod so cant post link) and, yeah, that has to be the $350 set. It's massive and with all the power fictions and seeing it from more angles, my interest level just went up for it. That thing has just got to be a beast to put together, though. Will have to see how that is going to fit in the budget later this year, along with a lot of these other large technic sets that look nice.
I recently picked up '8088 ARC-170 Starfighter' as a reward to myself for closing a big sale at work. I, like many other in this thread, have recently had my interest in Lego rekindled by Star Wars. That said, I was personally disappointed by the limited number of new vehicles featured in The Force Awakens, so I have been feeding my hunger by acquiring favorite ships from other parts of the saga.
I am a longtime fan of the ARC-170, and 8088 is a fantastic set.
It isn't quite as epic as the initial description, but it is still leagues better than most super hero play sets around that price. And oh, the figures.
Now to impatiently wait for Jack-O-Lantern and Mysterio figures.

Glimpse of the park set
First lego wheelchair? Looks nice.
City Volcano sets look like crap. No way will these be as popular as the Arctic sets. Those at least had animals and a "treasure" that made sense.
First "infant" minifigure design too. Micro legs and arms it looks like?

Yeah. I was looking forward to this theme, but its like they just switched orange for green pieces from the Arctic theme. Which reminds me, I wanna' go back and pick up the Arctic boat before it gets crazy expensive.
