09:28 PM PST Amazon: I see that.
The order will be updated when the ite,m is shipped that is around Feb 10.
09:29 PM PST Amazon: Since it is mixed with all other pre orders, the delivery date will not show now.

09:32 PM PST Amazon: Sure
09:33 PM PST Amazon: the items are out of stock.
09:35 PM PST Me: They're suppose to release on the 16th as well. If I'm not getting them by that time then fine but I'd be a little disappointed. is there anything you can do to compensate me? I'm not sure but my 30% off discount active in the order doesn't seem to apply to them.
09:35 PM PST Amazon: You need 30 % disocunt on this items?

I spoke to an amazon csr just now to request that my preorder for FE: Fates SE be shipped in a cardboard box with bubble wrap instead of a regular bubble envelope. I told him that one of my previous orders (xenoblade chronicles X) was sent in an envelope and arrived damaged.
he was a nice guy said that he would send a request to the packaging team that they please put the item in protective wrapping before sending it out. he also asked for the order number for the damaged xenoblade, and told me he added a note about the damaged order as well.
Whether or not they actually do it and ship the game with better protection is one thing, but it was nice to hear that they'd take my request seriously.
not going to lie though, i was refreshing the orders page hoping that he didn't accidentally cancel my order. lol
Man I get an email saying I asked for too many free shipping promos which in total was 5 and that they would close my account if I kept it up and I keep seeing people do this and I just can't understand why I was threatened.
btw what game are you trying to transfer the preorder bonus to?
As nice as discounts are in the "our dollar is crap" era, I don't exploit Amazon support staff for deals that aren't warranted. Hell, Amazon is already eating a loss on these joysticks as it is. I don't need an additional 30% off. Red flags from shit like that will eventually take down the entire ecosystem and we'll be stuck with extortionary prices, no price adjusting on pre-orders and no E3 discounts to begin with.
Let me bless you guys with the bible:
Free Deal
Consortium Master Edition is free on Gog.com: http://www.gog.com/game/consortium_the_master_edition
You need one game and buy the other two paths as DLC for 25$ eachSince fire emblem is talked so much here I'm gonna ask here is read of looking elsewhere on the Internet. How does the new fire emblem work? Is there 2 games? Is the only way to get both with the collectors edition? How does it work as dlc?

Is my Amazon order for SFV saying delivery estimate of March 31 something I should worry about?
Sooooo.....
I just got 30% off my Amazon arcade stick pricing error. Feels good mang.
Has anyone found a place to get some screen protector's for the n3ds (the smaller unit) that are somewhat affordable and will ship to Canada?
Don't complain about shipping too much guys that's the one thing they hateYou asked for free shipping didn't you? Contact amazon and ask why the delay. Express that you're disappointed as other retailers are shipping the game out on time. They'll bump up your shipping and may just give you a promo discount towards your next purchase (depending on how upset you are).
WHAT????
Don't complain about shipping too much guys that's the one thing they hate
For the stick though mine is also 30% off, but the CSR did that on his own when my Odin Sphere wasn't getting the discount![]()

There's a reason everyone complains, though.
Their shipping is a disgrace, and a really shitty attempt to force people to buy Prime

Threads turned into how can we dupe Amazon CSRs and get deals where none exist. You people pushing your luck, I don't even think RFD does it like this.
It's no longer hypocrisy if the thread is pretty much the extension of RFD.Yeah, the hypocrisy is strong in this thread. People here complain all the time that "RFD ruins deals", but then they go and exploit Amazon... What?
Asking if it's possible to move a promotion from one game to an another one while canceling the first one isn't an exploitation, the promotion is overall the same and Amazon isn't losing business over it (to the contrary) and the bottom Line remains the same. The CSR are free to refuse and most do so.Yeah, the hypocrisy is strong in this thread. People here complain all the time that "RFD ruins deals", but then they go and exploit Amazon... What?
Amazon has Fallout 4 for $49.99 (PC/PS4/XB1)

Also, Gears UE Xbox One bundle + Fallout 4 for $349.99, or with Black Ops 3 for $349.99.
XB1 with FO4 http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B019YG9VZU/
XB1 wtih BO3 http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B017Y021NM/
Also, most of Amazon's and Best Buy's XB1 consoles are $50 off.
$50 off XB1 Kinect sensor ($109.99) at Best Buy http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product...d775d9a21248c950836570ben02&SearchPageIndex=1

i feel like everyone taking advantage of the nice CSRs are gonna eventually ruin it for everyone in the long run
but hey, what do i know, i've always had bad luck with CSRs in general, even when just trying to figure out where my packages actually are

Meh. Most of the pre-orders I got with the double 30 discount will be getting cancelled anyway. Even with those two discounts (which happened after they linked two orders) the price comes out higher then what it'll eventually be when (if) I ever get around to playing them.
Far Cry Primal for example. After the two promo's it'll ring in at just under $45. But I'm not going to follow through with it. It'll be selling for $20 by the time I get around to playing it (if ever). So I'll be cancelling that one along with most of the others.
The thought of the money saved is exciting. Until I realize that I'll save even more by just waiting it out. My MASSIVE backlog comes in handy.
Not of one, of the SE.And then you have people coming in with their screenshots and constantly bragging about the fact that they have every versions of fire emblem for the cost of one...
Not of one, of the SE.
Mind you, none of that was done "taking advantage" of anything and happened through sheer errors.
My initial order of FE Fates was changed to one specific path (birthright) because at the time of the preorder Amazon only had a placeholder version. I asked them to give me conquest too and the CSR just added it for 31,5$ on his own (since the first one had the E3 preorder promo)
For Fire Emblem Fates SE one of the games in the order was shipped without the promotion beeing applied (and that was an error) the CSR have a refund and changed Fate's price
Should I contact them and ask for a price increase because he have me a mistaken price through actions of his own?
I understood not one word of what you just typed.
But sure, ask for a price increase, that would be a hilarious transcript I would actually care to read.
I actually wonder if they can do price increases. More often than not, when they screw up and discount the wrong item for me, they never fix it and just discount the right item (basically how I get all of my excessive discounts), which makes me suspect they can't. I can imagine them having to ask a manager about if they can increase the price at a customer's request.
Initial order was for FE Fates, at the time no one knew it would be two gamesI understood not one word of what you just typed.

well my order was for twilight princess so i dont think a screenshot of my order will helpGrand Kingdom
The E3 promo is probably Amazon's way of giving us some thing on par with what the US has through primeAbuse the system and we'll be paying 100 dollars for games and no E3 promos

Well then you should abuse it as much as possible right now. Because if you think it will go away due to everyone else abusing it, it definitely will since clearly nobody is stopping.I'm also wondering how long will all this last... since most of us are doing it and I'm pretty sure that many lurkers are doing it too so amazon must have noticed that we are quite active with their customer service up here in Canada...
I see where you're coming from, no worriesNo offense Fularu, I'm glad that you had such a great deal and you are also not the only one who ever "bragged" about his sick deals from amazon CSR's fuckup/abuse. You just ended being one of the most recent example that I could reference.
It's just that the thread often becomes a contest to see how much we can abuse the system and then show it off with screencaps and stuff(I wanna see a free stick pls, 30% off is nothing...). It's hard to not share your excitement when you get great deals like those and I'm pretty sure that I have done the same in the past...
It's not my call and I have no idea if that's even a real issue but I feel like it could be hurting our community a little bit. Deals are hard to come by and rubbing it in the face of those that could not be as lucky as some of us who had gotten these special "deals" from amazon is probably frustrating to read.

Whatever I guess.
