Amazon now has the 20% off pre-orders deal, too! Pre-order two or more, get 20% off. Good for today until February 18th! Go, go, go!

I wonder if I can get them to push my twilight princess hd order onto a new one to get the 20% off. I just re ordered it on bestbuy to get the discount there.

My SFV shipping date estimate changed from February 16 at 8:00 PM to "Not yet shipped."

I just got an email from Amazon Canada stating:
Hello from Amazon.ca.

We're still trying to obtain the following item you ordered on June 18, 2015:

"Street Fighter V - PlayStation 4 - Standard Edition"

Still want it? We'll keep on trying. You'll still be able to cancel at any time before we ship it. If you want to cancel the item now, please click the link below:

Great. Likely gonna cancel and just buy the digital PSN version. Not saving that much with my discounted physical copy.

I don't think any games on Amazon have the discount applied yet, I've added a bunch of games on just to see what happens and the final page before confirming the order doesn't show any discount at the moment.

Were you told 3 - 5 days for the refund to be credited to your wallet?

Yup. Pretty standard.

This is not my first "one-time only" refund from Sony, lol.

Got a link for their CS? I can't seem to find it . Thanks and hugs in advance .

Yup, they sure love hiding it.

Do you think there's a way to get the 20% off preorders added to my Fire Emblem CE order? Probably not with Best Buy's customer service, but...

If you're interested in the Fallout 4 DLC, it might be a good idea to pick it up before March 1st. It's $39.99 in the Playstation Store, but as of March 1st they're increasing the price. In the announcement thread it's $49.99USD, so it could easily jump to $59.99-69.99 here.

...pretty bad when something going up in price later on is considered a deal.

Though some people did get lucky when they called. I tried to get FE discounted but got no luck.

Not sure it has been mentioned, but Best Buy is having a 20% off preorder deal right now if you preorder 2 or more.
Thanks for this.

I pre-ordered Valkyria Chronicles and 7th Dragon III Code at Best Buy. I was almost tempted to go with Amazon.ca for the potential price errors, but seeing that Best Buy had the above two games for $5 cheaper (not to mention how slow Amazon.ca has been in shipping games in the past...) and the choice was easy.

Quick question, though. I see no mention of the metal case for Valkyria Chronicles on Best Buy (or Amazon). Are we not getting it, or is it kind of one of those "first-press and everyone receives" kind of deal?

<--- Is On Team Amazon.

Honestly I don't know how someone can't be. Whatever delays they have, they more then make up for by offering discounts and such. I guess the delays never bother me as I have more then enough to waste my time on. And hey if I get a game cheaper due to a late delivery...all the better.

I am on team nobody right now, Valkyria Chronicles won't ship to Quebec at BB and it won't add the 20% on Amazon. These kind of things are way more complicated than they should be sometimes... Amazon should at least update their list of games soon enough, but 5$ more sucks.

Agreed. Even big games I can survive playing it a few weeks late. It rarely happens and I cash in when it does.

I grabbed FE from EBGames though.

Amazon always gets me my stuff on time, except for Halo 5, but that's cause UPS lost it, so that wasn't Amazon's fault. I don't even have prime. Screw BestBuy, I always get stuff late from them.

I somehow doubt that you get everything day 1 without Prime...(that would be great tho!)

Do you have a special case where a CSR upgraded your orders to priority shipping for free or something?

Just wondering.

Wait, what? When did this happen? I had no idea this was getting localized.

Anyways, looks like Grand Kingdom LE is eligible for the 20% off on Amazon. Will put in a preorder for now and think later. Edit: Or not. Darn, it's not applying.

Amazon let's you cancel items individually and has always had great customer service for me. Best Buy once screwed me over with an order completely and didn't reply to written complaints to customer service four times and failed to do what their representatives told me they'd do on phone twice.

Team Amazon 4lyfe.

It happened a while back. I know, it surprised me too, haha.

Shame about Grand Kingdom not being applicable, though. I might have been tempted otherwise.

I always deferred to Amazon when I got the chance before last year. Their depot for new releases being in Mississauga, I always got things on release day, or the day after at the latest. Since the middle of last year though, I've seen nearly every game delayed by a few days and in a couple of cases, a week. Complaining about it just make them push the shipment through, but I'd prefer not to have to contact a CSR every time just to have my order ship out on time.

Cancelling when you have a promo attached isn't even the smoothest act, something I usually love about Amazon. I had to jump through a half dozen e-mails trying to cancel FE Conquest and they couldn't do it / refused to do it in the end, telling me to just decline the package. That is until I found out I could cancel the item on their mobile site, whereas the desktop site kept throwing errors.

So fuck it, Best Buy forever now if they give me the same options.

contact amazon customer service. it's listed as part of the sale, isn't it?

fake edit: no they took it off the listing now. it had a 20% off icon on it earlier.

Hey guys, I'm ordering sometime from Best Buy, but my credit card will expire soon, so I'm thinking of using Paypal.

Does that work the same way as credit cards? As in, they'll charge you for each item as it ships, and you can just return in-store with the online receipt. How does the refund work anyways? Do you need to use the card linked to your Paypal for the refund, or is it automatic without the use of a card? There are no Paypal fees for something like this, right?

I tried hustling one of them back when bayonetta 2 (the one that also had bayonetta) had that price mistake of being 32 bucks. He was not gonna have any of my shit.

Was that a price error? I got Hyrule Warriors for the same price, and they had a ton of other games on sale also.

basically this. I used to get shit from amazon.ca the next day with free shipping. now it's terrible.

best buy is still usually day 1, day 2 at the latest.

so I should totally pre-order Pokken and Twilight Princess HD with the 20% off deal, right? are there any other big games announced between last E3 and now?
