Why you gotta wear a disguise over your disguise, Batman?
I like this reaction

Hahahahashut up
Hahahaha
Oh and Doc got banned too. Man, if BvS ends up being a great movie, a part of me will miss the bickering
Of course, a bigger part of me would be happier if they went away altogether because BvS actually ends up delivering
It's such a ridiculous scene, but why does it get to me like that man.
You think the bickering will end if it's a great movie?
No, no, no. If it's a great movie, the bickering simply becomes more petty.
nevermind, cause I'm better than guek anyways.
If this soundtrack is any indication, Zimmer seriously underuses Clark's theme again.
There isn't one triumphant blast of it anywhere in here. just the sad plinky piano version of it. Sometimes augmented with strings, sometimes not.
Basically, it seems that the Man of Steel end credits version of that cue is a one-off.

I don't think anythings going to touch TDK for a long, long time
If it was relatively unchanged I don't see why it would be on the soundtrack but I'm no expert. Was Zimmers' Batman theme on all the OST's for the Nolan movies? Were they identical?

You mean the Superman theme? Because the Clark theme is the one with the sad klinky piano
And tbf: it is in the movie, we just don't know for how long,
It's the same motif. Same notes in the same order.
Also, interesting choice for when Batman & Superman do fight - the score takes a turn into Tron: Legacy-land. I like it.
Yeah, I remember saying the same thing about the End Credits music for Man of Steel, and then I watched the movie and it turned out that was basically the only point where a heroic version of that motif was used (that and Flight).
But it's definitely possible there's something more uplifting/heroic being done with that theme in the film proper.
edit: I really like Lex's theme.
True, but you said you wanted more of the Clark Kent, which is basically that sad piano without the horns.
What is your favorite so far? Mine is Beautiful Lie or Day of the Dead, wonder if that will change after I see the movie.
After watching this 11 minute chronological trailer I'm convinced this movie is going to suck.

I can't tell if this is a serious post or not. I hope not.
Heh I'm being serious. It just looks so oppressively dark. Where is the fun, the heroism, the excitement?
"This is My World" is by far the best track on the OST
"Is She with you" is amazing.
Black & Blue is up there for me, too.
edit: well, this is a decent sign. None of us have actually picked the same track for our favorites.
I adore 'They Were Hunters' and 'Must there be a Superman'
yeah a lot of good ones. beautiful lie is prolly the best for me though.
Nice, listening through them now. "There War is Here" has been on my workout playlist
Do You Bleed, Beautiful Lie, and Day of the Dead have been my favorite tracks so far.
Red Capes are coming and This is my Wolrd are my favorites. Is she with you is also pretty dope.
yoooooooooooo
Hans brought the Arcade theme back! Ahhhh
Beautiful Lie and Day of the Dead are the tracks that stood out to me most. Overall I really like the score. Can't wait to see how its incorporated into the movie.
Fight Night is epic.
Probably somewhere in the other 139 minutes not shown in that clip, lol. Who knows? Just seems like such a silly observation to make.

I think 11 minutes of footage should give us a good indication of what this movie is aiming for tonally.

Obviously the entire soundtrack is great thenAre you all just fucking with us? These are almost all different tracks.

It's a comic book movie that borrows heavily from The Dark Knight Returns and 90s Superman. The colors are actually pretty comics-accurate IMOIt doesn't even look interesting dark. At least Nolan had themes with some substance. This looks like an angsty power fantasy turned up to 11. Even the aesthetic isn't interesting. It's all darkness, rain, shadows, muted colors in daylight.
