We've passively protested for so long that people forget that there was a time that protesting was supposed to be disruptive.

Republican Florida politicians are the one's fucking people over, rejecting an expansion of Medicare, screwing over 100's of thousands.
 
I think this does more harm than good. The kind of people that would support trump would easily get pissed at this. I feel this is what happened with the second bush election, there were so many attacks, by liberal Hollywood, the press, movies, it was everywhere and non stop and what happened; it rallied the republicans and Bush got re elected. This creates more Trump supporters than it does make creat anti trump followers.

These people were most likely already Republican and most likely voting for them anyway. If being annoyed or harping on emergency services is there thing then they are most likely a lost cause.

But how does it REALLY affect one's typical daily lives, right ? I could be wrong, but I don't believe that Obama has raised taxes overall for the poor to middle class. Good economy that allows decent employment opportunities that at the very least is better now than a few years ago. So a typical person A's lives really isn't all that affected to be honest. I mean, this anger is so great that it pushed aside Republican establishment candidates like Bush and Rubio. That's so crazy ! Obamacare sure cost some money but from what I understand, it's cheaper than most of the private insurance you would have gotten otherwise, no ? Especially if you have some kind of pre-existing condition ?

I can only speak from my experience from Canada. Our election from last year saw us angrily vote out Harper, but that's because he actually did damage to that effect people's lives. So I can see if one's lives is negatively affected, then they will be angry. I just don't understand this anger when one's daily lives isn't negatively affected, haha. SO CONFUSING !

But republicans are split, sure most will vote for whoever is the ticket but maybe some were going to obstain. But here come those damn liberals and you know the rest.

On the flip side I would argue the opposite, those who were not going to vote for trump are not changed by this at all either, they still won't vote for trump. Who is this message being sent out too? The people supporting trump? This will just piss them off and make them campaign harder.
