But that clearly worked! It got a sequel and you guys are getting hitched
I should have known then, if we can make through Clash of the Titans we can make it through anything.

It's like everybody in the world became Alan Moore's themselves. When I was a kid comic book culture was shunned and frowned upon by the cool kids so while this subculture is going mainstream y'all better soak up that shine before shade gets thrown on it again.

He was just a dad trying to protect his son from creeps stalking in their jammies.
Very True, It is such a great time to be alive, to be a fan, to just be here at this moment in time.I think people are simply spoiled on everything now. They take for granted the fact that we're getting these movies, and they're never good enough.
Another problem is that, to most fans, their personal visions of Batman and Superman will never, ever match up with what's given to them on screen. To many people, these characters are almost religious icons. You'll never be able to please everyone.
Personally, I'm 35 years old. I remember Superman IV, the Burton/Schumacher Batman films (I appreciate the '89 one for being a great film noir movie that happened to have Batman stumbling into frame every once in a while, but that's as far as it goes), the '80s Captain America movie, the live-action Spider-Man television show, the Hulk TV show/TV movies (seriously, look up the ones with Thor and Daredevil in them), and everything else leading up to and including the Raimi Spider-Man films, which I don't like nearly as much as everyone else.
We are fucking BLESSED to be getting what we're getting with these newer movies. Who would have thought that a movie with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman would ever be a reality? Or the Avengers? Or Spider-Man in the MCU?
These are good times, but people don't realize it at all.
That shit was just a total downer.

Pay particular attention to the opinion of Norma Snutsack. She's a dignified and highly respected reviewer. As the old saying goes, "nothing say 'quality' like the name Norma Snutsack."
Mate, it's about a man who wears red pants over his trousers fighting some CGI.

We all saw the trailers. We all know exactly what it's going to be like.
With some terrible dialogue and a single cool action scene, Faora "stole the show" in Man of Steel.
I have no doubt Wonder Woman can do the same.
I'm curious.
If a critic posts he didn't like it, will he get death threats from angry fans?
You already know the answer to this.I'm curious.

Why in the world are people hoping this movie is a shitpile? I'll never understand movie-GAFs ultra high standard of expectations when it comes to movies in general.
We live in a time where Deadpool actually happened and the MCU has 3 movies a year that are financially successful. Rocket Racoon is a character that is popular. Civil War is happening. Thanos is about to wreck shit.
Superman is back and now we get Batman vs Superman on the big screen. Suicide Squad and Doctor Strange are coming soon. This is literally the best time to be alive for comic fans in the history of ever. I'm a Marvel guy, but I want to see this and I hope it's good and I want it to be successful because Wonder Woman and Justice League are going to happen.
Lighten up and take a step back and enjoy it while it lasts, because like everything else, it will be over before we know what we really had. Then we'll be complaining that they don't do comic book movies anymore like they did in the glory years.
Get over it an just let yourself turn off the world and enjoy it for what it is.
standing boo-vation for 30 straight minutes.
Yeah I know, French critics are so bad for CBM ...
I dunno, me and my fiancée saw Clash of the Titans
Sucker Punch was not only a terrible movie, it was the worst first date movie of all time

I cried three times during MOS, I expect no less.
God you are so wrong. Why are you implying people should be happy just because a film exists in first place, what more we want! Well, a good film if possible.
And why we are blessed for getting super hero movies, as if they were something special?
What superhero was out 5 years ago that Norma is comparing it too?Possibly already posted, but here is a screen cap of some early impressions. Take them as you will:

So did I, from laughter.
Which scenes got you to tear up? :\I don't understand, there wasn't much funny about it, it was pretty heart wrenching in many scenes.
This can't be real life.

SAVE THE DOG
Don't save me tho
Don't save the kids. Don't save me. Don't save the dog: The Movie
So they're projecting? This explanation makes the most sense.
Honestly, I wanted to be moved by MoS. I'm a sucker for father/kid stories and I was surprised at how even this couldn't move me in the slightest.
