Didn't Emily or someone say that Nintendo has major high-level meetings with EA several times in March. Meetings in which supposedly EA was clearly laying out terms/demands to Nintendo? And that Nintendo was rumored to capitulate to said demands??
Might as well start with EA and then work your way down through third-parties based on level of importance. Activision next, then Take-two, and so on.
If the EA meetings rumors are valid, that seems like the first step in what is probably a long process to get third-parties relations back on track. Kimishima seems to understand that license fees are a good revenue stream and trying to get that back can add to the potential of reaching Nintendo-like profits.
