Definitely not disagreeing that it's a thing they'll do, but the customer service reps I'm getting are definitely not budging for me, my post earlier that you quoted is what they keep telling me.

"2. Do I get 20% off if I already pre-ordered the game?

Yes, the offer will be extended to all existing Prime member pre-orders. The discount will be reflected in your order details within 5 business days and at the time of shipment."

Oh I'd love to see ND working on an open world/space/adventure game. Kind of like No Man's Sky but in third person. Seamless travel from the ground to space and between planets. I guess, basically give them the Star Wars I.P. for a third person action game is what I'm getting at. :)

Nah. More grounded like Blade Runner or Ghost in the Shell. No freaking aliens like in Defiance or Stargate. Realistic setting with realistic predictions (even in 200 years we won't have contact to other civilzations or far advanced space traveling techniques). That would be my next ND dream game

Absolutely loving the game man.

Visuals are astonishing, especially the backgrounds. The attention to detail is staggering.

I felt more emotionally vested in the game in 5 minutes than I did the entirety of Quantum Break.

The acting is superb. Controls are immediately intuitive and familiar and so far, the game is a joy to play.

I love Quantum Break, but man, nobody can do this shit like Naughty Dog.

Literally the only developers I can think of who could put out an action adventure game on this level would be Valve. They're the only ones who push the envelope in all the right ways. And look how that's going.

Having a hard time not spoiling myself. All these comments about the visuals.. the urge to look up some screenshots and gameplay is strong.

Haven't seen any thing since the preview with the jeep a while back.

This might be one of the few times I've tried this hard to go spoiler free. The wait until wednesday is going to be hard. assuming i get my copy by then.

Going spoiler-free is worth it. I'm 95% spoiler free (only watched the reveal gameplay video and the E3 gameplay video) and a lot of this shit is just fucking blowing me away.

You know that E3 gameplay video with the car chase?

Playing that scene is about a million times better than watching it. Just fucking mindblowing.

Not sure that I like that Naughty Dog is apparently ending the Uncharted games. It's a huge I.P. for them to shelve. I hope that they're just planning on taking a break from the series for a few years and will work on The Last of Us 2 and a few other games before returning to the Uncharted universe.

EDIT: How is everyone getting/playing this game early? Besides the truck in the U.K. being robbed, are others just being put on shelves or just sent to people who paid early?

My local "mom n pop" store got their copies yesterday and I bought one in there. They typically stock any new release the Saturday before.

Good guys.

PS Naughty Dog aren't ending the Uncharted series. They're ending the Nathan Drake narrative.

I think 15 hours is the most number I seen pop up.

I think my count is going to be close to 15 hours, too - but honestly, it does not fucking feel like 15 hours.

I'm about 9 or 10 hours in and it feels like 20 hours so far. It's so rich and every moment is so detailed. Your brain just fucking laps it up and time goes slowly.

why am i reading reports about the game being 50 gigs?

when im seeing 12.928 gigs

I know there is a 5gig or something update patch for it when or before it comes out.

Why are there still so many people who dont understand the preload thing after 3 years.

You download the first section of the file, with Uncharted its the 12GB then the rest downloads in the background. the initial 12GB is so you can launch the game and start playing.

I have some trouble understanding this triple pack DLC thing. Is the singleplayer DLC not going to be available standalone? The store page leads me to believe that. Common sense tells that well that wouldn't make much sense.

At the same rate I think the price is going to be 14,99€ anyway so I could just buy the deluxe edition as it comes down to the same price.

Yes...Japanese space operas also came to mind.

Just released in my country but it's Japanese version. Haha
I'm gonna get the Limited Edition at Midnight Launch event tmr (about 35 hour from now).

I just realized there is no preload for Uncharted 4. What's that about? So much for playing at midnight. It's going to take me hours to download it.

Edit: I see this is already being talked about on this page! I will see if there is a download option on the actual PS4. The web store doesn't give me the option.

Double edit: I was able to download from the game library. All is well.

this is the first time in awhile I've been able to go media black out for a big game like this.

I've only seen the E3 jeep ride & last years trailer.

looking forward to may 10th.

I'm glad I've never seen this jeep ride that so many people are calling the best, will be fun to experience it fresh.

You might die of sheer thrills

It is unbelievable

Nothing like it has been made in gaming. Playing it even after having watched the video 4-5 times still blew my fucking mind

Have you played The Last Of Us ? Pretty much the same settings. I haven't messed around, but there are a lot of audio settings.
What I mean is, for the Sony gold headset you have an option 1&2. Option one is just standard. But you can preload a developer made program into setting #2 for a better audio experience there's no tinkering required, it's just a download. TLOU did have one though, which makes me hopeful.

You can bet your life on it being there at some point if it's not there at the moment.

Even if there's no preset option there's the Nathan Drake Collection option which I imagine would be very close, if not the exact same.

But I'd be surprised if they don't have an Uncharted 4 option.

"Featuring a downloadable audio mode for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, get ready to take on Nathan Drake's greatest adventure when the game releases on April 26th, 2016."

naturally the release date has been moved, but Im sure the audio profile will be there this week.

Turned my ps4 on after taking my mother out to breakfast to see Uncharted 4 preload is up for the United States. 48 gigs never looked so beautiful

We know that there will be one but I want to say that the Nate Collection profile is beyond amazing! The difference between that and standard is insane.

Oh I'd love to see ND working on an open world/space/adventure game.

I'd love to see an RPG from them next, either Fantasy or Sci-Fi. There's really never been an RPG combat system with great animation, outside of Souls/Bloodborne. Honestly though, I hope they don't attempt an open world game. There's enough open world stuff out there, and I think ND has mastered the wide-linear style.

The said they don't want to do open world and they want to stick to tight narratives. I don't see how that works for a RPG.

Souls games don't really have a "tight narrative", but they are great examples of wide-linear. They're definitely not open world, but you the areas loop in on themselves and give you a range of options in terms of how to approach each level.

We are talking about Naughty Dog, not From Software. What do Souls games have to do with Naughty Dog's statement about the kind of games they want to make?

Does that second phase of the download (30 something gigs) occur before the game unlocks on the 10th or after? Sorry for not knowing much about how preloads work.
