It's in my head whenever I hear the Door's Love Her Madly (edit: which is often).Oh God lol it's been a long time since I heard this.
He isn't lying. My I'm still coming down from that hard chub of a game.
Amazon just ship my game already gawdamn what am I paying you for
Loyalty? I was wowed by the music before knowing the composer or knowing I'd be so invested in the series since game one.
I thought it was clear I was being facetious but at the same time, some of those tracks really stand out and add to the experience. I just don't get how they can be "forgettable" compared your standard orchestral score elsewhere.
Oh, no I'm capable of forming an honest and fair opinion of the new score once I'm playing despite my initial "what?no!". Hell, I loved Golden Abyss' music and that was mostly a different composer.Loyalty now, not when you started the series. Loyalty in the sense of not accepting change. Changing the composer does not diminish the previous work in any way.
I personally can't judge or compare the soundtracks since I haven't played the game yet, but I've seen a lot of people jumping to conclusions before actually experiencing the game, simply due to so called loyalty.
I honestly think the extent of enjoyment and appreciation people will have for the gameplay in UC4, notably with the combat, will largely depend on not only player skill, but the amount the player experimented or mixed things up. UC4 in so many (most?) of the combat arena's, allows you to tackle things in a wide variety of ways, with multiple avenues of access, retreat, flanking possibilities, verticality etc. It's essentially a combat sandbox, so how much people enjoy it will likely largely depend on how much they understood and took advantage of the diverse array of strategic options afforded them.
You could see how so many journalists played and approached the Madagascar preview combat segment so differently, it's a similar thing with many other of the combat segments in the game too. That's why I really do recommend Moderate difficulty first time around, so whilst people are still learning to master all the different mechanics, they can do so without getting bogged down with overly smart or aggressive AI.

Got confirmation from Amazon that it has shipped and will be here Tuesday. Yes!! Might just have to work from home that day....
what is this nonsense though? first the game gets delayed 3 times and now the retailer is delaying shipment? You live in the U.S. right? Might be time to cancel your order and go to a brick and mortar store.
that's what it says for my Ps4 bundle. the collector's and original say May 16-20Mine still says it's arriving on the 10th, but... nothing after that :/
I do. I'm a patient man but I can't say I'm not pissed off.Yeah Amazon delayed my order until May 13 too. Thus I cancelled that crap immediately and bought the game on PS Store instead. Ain't nobody got time for that!
But why? Why are they delaying the order? If I were you I would digitally preorder and get your preload started ASAP.

I was commenting on people dismissing it as if they hadn't even noticed it. How could you not?

I never cared for his schtick. He can score it whatever he wants, but he seems just as obsessed with trolls as they are with his review.I'm kinda glad I don't really pay attention to Jim. Don't really understand why he pays attention to trolls. But I'm not a fan of his, so who am I to judge.
His review had some pretty big issues IMO but I suppose the focus on trolls makes any discussion on that matter irrelevant and impossible to have.
When's the OT going up?
Just an opinion. When I found out the original voice actor for Harry Flynn didn't return because of contract disagreements, I figured a similar situation happened when Greg Edmonson didn't return so Naughty Dog weren't aloud to use it.
My memory of these games is such shit and I just played 3 on Friday. I figure a lot of is because I played them on Hard and would get stuck and frustrated on combat encounters all the time, causing me to lose focus on the stories. I still came away from 3 feeling like there wasn't enough Elena, but that's my bias towards favoring her, I guess. She was definitely in 3 less than 1 and 2, wasn't she?

Just beat every boss in Dark Souls 3. I AM READY FOR TUESDAY
Damn. I want to try and finish up DkS3 before starting UC4 but I don't think that's going to happen. I've only just wrapped up at the Cathedral of the Deep.
Having finished U4 I actually think it will age worse than any Dark Souls game. Dark Souls gameplay is almost timeless. The only groundbreaking thing about U4 is the visuals and photorealistic visuals always age.
Oh lawd, yeah no way is that gonna happen.Damn. I want to try and finish up DkS3 before starting UC4 but I don't think that's going to happen. I've only just wrapped up at the Cathedral of the Deep.
Yeah I think Emily Rose's availability was limited for UC3 because she was the star of Haven on Syfy. So she is definitely in UC3 less than UC2 but she still gets more screen time than Chloe.
The other big hit for UC3 was they lost Graham MacTavish (Charlie Cutter) halfway through filming because he was chosen to be in the Hobbit films. So his role got cut very short all of a sudden.
It feels like they ended up between a rock and a hard place because they had to put together a story around set pieces that were already created (the set pieces were designed first) and had very limited availability for a fair bit of the main cast. UC3 was the first game where Drake spends a significant portion of the game totally alone (most of the second half).
Oh lawd, yeah no way is that gonna happen.
I was up till 2:30 AM last night banging my head against a certain optional boss. I hate starting new games before finishing the last. Backlogs gives me anxiety lol.
Why you gotta bring Souls to the fight![]()
You've got a ways to go.
