They're just showing normal attacks and elemental magic. Can't wait to see the ring magics.
It's not, really, unless its different from the demo.
Hold circle.
What's high level about this?
This is basically stuff in the Platinum Demo + Fire Magic.
Not really 😑. There are ways to make combat WAY more satisfying than holding circle. Playing through the demo several times, I taught myself all the little tricks that the demo didn't teach me. Ended up making it look like some of those cgi vids.
It's like fun is subjective or something.
Kinda hoping they update Duscae again with this stuff lol.
Don't blame the game because you don't use its gameplay features.
I though the same thing when I first played the demo, then I started experimenting with the combat and it is actually pretty nuanced.
It's fun when you decide holding circle is boring and step up. And as an added bonus, you can kill the enemies way faster if you try to
lol.
I eagerly await your playthrough video where you complete the game by "Holding circle".
Alright, apparently I missed something, I will give the demo another go because it seems I'm being unfair, that wasn't my intent. I don't recall it communicating any other gameplay mechanics so I honestly didn't know there was more to it than that and throwing the magic items.

People would cry murder if they made a 'realistic' pokemon game.Ok now I want a Pokemon game with these graphics and gameplay...plsssssss

Bro you see Noctis throwing that Pokeball-looking-thing around, me want moaaaaaarPeople would cry murder if they made a 'realistic' pokemon game.
Well i did that because even if its the japanese release they will come out around the same time. Also there was a time FF was a also turn based.Kinda unfair to compare the two when they're shooting for two completely different things.
This video was still pretty weak tho.
Ring magic? Isn't that the armiger or however it's spelled?

The combat looks fine to me but I wish the environments weren't so incredibly dull and lacking detail. No idea how people could watch this video and come away impressed with the game's visuals.
This game looks super rough. I guess they're doing all they can to drive up performance on consoles. Vegetation LOD is just super aggressive, and it's already looking sparse near you.
Sadly they showed the game looking like this at one point.
I wonder if they got a Neo version on pipeline already ready to be shown at E3 or something.

I wouldn't consider it a rumor. It's in the development kit documentation after all.Neo patch to fix the IQ with stable 1080p and 30fps from Uncovered footage and I'll be satisfied. Hopefully the rumor of late September games requiring Neo patch is true.
But dude didn't you see him throwing all those shuriken while staying in the air. High level! High level I tell you!Yeah, this doesn't look high level. Uh, thanks IGN?

you cant compare it to older systems in the series like that though...its a different genreLooks amazing. This system will be so much fun as you get more proficient. Overall it is a huge improvement over older systems.
It's coming eventually. Pokemon is finally hitting the PS2 era, which is absolutely insane to think about. Pokemon will be in HD in 2019.
