This thread is making me realize how much I miss last night's sexist animal names drunk thread.

I'm still upset, I thought that said sexiest for a while

That is a powerful word for a women you are in a relationship with to use to cut you down as a man. My girlfriend has thrown stuff at me and once accidentally pushed me down a flight of stairs which sort of hurt me but she has never called me a bitch. I would really be offended if she did as to me that would be a clear sign she did not respect my manhood.

Haha for real? You don't care that she pushed you down stairs but you'd care if she called you a bitch cause it disrespects your manhood? Cmon now. This has to be a joke.

there is no way you break up with her over this. surely.

man, you will go through stupid shit like this frequently with your partner till the day you day. it's part of the ride.

if it makes you feel better, i called my GF fat at a party the other day, and i'm still standing.

edit... figures it wasnt really her. Damn. And OP you still gave no context. What do you think she'd say was the reason she called you a bitch three times? I mean honestly if she's unapologetic you should fuck her and then immediately drop her and ask who the bitch is now.

Or maybe you deserved it? Or maybe she at least thought there was a valid reason. What's the damn context?

This thread is a motherfucking eye opener. All you people who are like "this is just what happens in relationships" - seriously, it isn't. Or at least, it doesn't have to be. If you're dealing with it - you don't have to. If you're doing it? You're fucked.

You sound like a terrible person.

And yikes, lots of emasculating "maybe you don't realize you're a bitch after all" posts. Sorry I asked for the advice.

i wanna see the alternate universe version of this thread with all the exact same posts but the genders reversed, would be a graveyard like no other.

This is the first time it has happened, what it calls for is a sober discussion on what the fuck was going on and the feelings involved. If the OP wants to call it off, that's fine, but if he found her incredible before this whole incident it may be worth having an adult conversation over.

the point i'm trying to make is, relationships have different dynamics..maybe she has a different understanding of your relationships dynamic. which is why you guys can easily talk about it and work through it. my relationship has a dynamic that...doesn't give a shit when either of us say crap like that. and if i ever crossed the line, i'd get called up on it. i wouldn't get dumped. just like I wouldn't dump her.

Not saying this is a pattern or behavior or her "real" self coming out when she's drunk but I dealt with WAY too much of this type of bullshit (crazy fuckin pointedly angry mean drunk shit) with apology fucking and all the rest the next day. You're a few years younger than I am so maybe you have it in you but I bailed on all of those bad habits and found myself someone who is actually FUN to be around when they get fucked up.

Night and day man. But hey... .maybe she had a bad day/got a terrible phone call/has shit on her mind before she started getting sauced and it tainted the whole thing. Gonna have to talk sober to find out but if this type of shit bothers you and it's not the normal back and forth when you guys are drinking/partying with people... well ... that's no good, bruh.

Can't give much advice besides a proverb we have. It translates roughly to: "What you think while sober, you say out loud while drunk"

Or, being drunk shoyld not excuse her behavior. It's up to you to see if you can give her a second chance. I probably would not.

So many assholes in this thread.

Ironically, some of them might even call out for equality, diversity and Womans right.

Piss taking this is.

OP: Maybe she has a drunken problems. I know alot of people who do 180 personality wise, when tipsy, and try to talk to her about in the morning. If she doesn't care, move on. Person such as this is not worry of your polite attention.

Your advice boils down to, "I get called a bitch all the time."

No it doesn't, I am rarely if ever called any names except in really heated fights and it's more being called an asshole or something, stop trying to troll me with your crappy relationship advice.

I'll ignore the abusive behavior, sure. Why not? Should I dignify it with a response?

No I mean, you havent replied to anyone that has said wait until you're both sober or anything like that, you've only replied to people that have the same opinion as you, fair enough to ignore the abuse.

I was about to cover your back saying there is no need for response to all the peeps saying bullshit here, but I've changed my mind.

This isn't aboud dignity. Are you in relationship? One step closer to breakup if you boil it inside and don't let it out.

Haha, I would feel cucked as fuck. I'd prefer a kick in the balls

She calls me a homo, bitch, dickhead, prick, Hitler and other dumb things.

I call her a cunt, bitch, fuckwit and a lot of other dumb things.

We've been together for over five years and our biggest argument, which was over me using our saved funds to rebuild an engine for my car, had us 'separated' for like two days.

Everybody reacts different to jokes and the sometimes serious stuff. Seems like you being called a bitch really cut deep when it shouldn't have.

Sounds like a really strong over reaction. Surely your "manhood" isn't that fragile op.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Well, alcohol will do that to people sadly. Maybe you and especially her should stop overdoing it.
What has he overdone?!

I mean there's a distinction between a relationship that throws around insults in a casual/play manner "LOL U FUCK!", and calling someone bitch in a genuinely angry tone at a party just to be derogatory and condescending.

Context is everything. And clearly this isn't the norm between OP and his gf, so i'm thinking the latter is the likely situation.

This thread is rancid, don't take it personally OP. If my GF treated me like this at a party, sex would be the last thing on my mind, I would be livid.

OP did you actually want advice or did you want us to support you in your decision and be your echo? If you wanted the later you really already made your decision and there was no reason to come to us for advice you never really needed.

Damn yo this thread is almost as crazy as that "worst ways you've been dumped" thread.

People telling stories about slapping their gf, getting shoved down stairs, calling their gf fat at a party, spending shared savings on engines and calling each other cunts and Hitler.

This shit's like an episode of Maury lol.

My professional response:

If you think this thread is emasculating, oh boy howdy you probably won't enjoy her speech when you tell her why you're breaking up.

Because every relationship is different, they are complex things, not black and white good or bad.

I repeat: How is being bewildered by some of the shit people are saying in here, outrage

Or you just one of those people that like to call "outrage culture" on everything
