What sort of exercise do you do?

My experience is from weight lifting and bicycling.
I used to lift weights but I hated that. I bike sometimes and that's usually enjoyable so long as it's at a comfortable pace. I do body weight exercises too sometimes and prefer them over lifting weights (except planks. Fuck planks). Don't like swimming. Only really enjoy running if it's part of a sport

This cat is amazing

Weren't you like, 36 in the 90's though? ;)

Nice callback but get it right. I'm offended. I'll never be 36.

Running is about zoning. Get some music or something in your ear and just go. The time will pass. And be careful about raised pieces of sidewalk.

Cardiovascular exercise doesn't make you hot and being hot is the most important part of exercise.

that's not crispy, that's juicy.
I want those corn horns. but I'll probably go right back to nauseaous.

Granny Smith apples are so crispy.

Everyone should train in martial arts. Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu are so rewarding in so many years ways.

It also helps me in my career since MCMAP is very BJJ based.

Talking about running. I should start running again since I'm getting fatter again, I cannot afford to get out of shape right now.

What is BJJ?

This might be the reason, but I can't be certain of course. For me the only time I really "feel great" or get the endorphins flowing is when I push beyond my comfort zone while working out.

I know. I intentionally got your age wrong ;)

19 Chapters?! Jesus the one thing that video games are supposed to have over books is that they're not long and boring.

haha 19 chapters of Uncharted?! I'd rather read War and Peace.

In Russian please!
_______

Listening to Iron Maiden and really regretting not going to their concert when they came to Shanghai a while ago :(

Then send me your copy over. I can't fall asleep

Even knowing Russian wouldn't be enough because for a big part of the book you have the nobility using French as a sort of langue à la mode. So to read it completely in its original state you need to know Russian and French (if you don't want to rely on translation notes.)

I know I prefer it that way because I've tried to push myself and don't find that feels good. Only way it does is if I'm optimistic about progress and looking forward to it but that lasts maybe once or twice

Sorry that I'm complaining, it's just frustrating to hear a lot that it's supposed to be satisfying when I really want to like it but can't seem to

I speak French un peut

I wasn't aware they made a book.

The book to the film to the table top game

Also still need to watch Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. The book is fantastic.

The TV mini series is fantastic. Actually inspired me to construct a 'fantasy' world around the notion of what if magic suddenly appeared at a crucial time in humanities history where warfare was changing massively while alchemy was nothing more than a fledgling science branch (I'm talking about the renaissance btw).

There's a place near my house that trains both Muay Thai and BJJ.
It's actually run by a former UFC fighter.

Was thinking of going, $150 CDN a month... :P

Last official day of instruction for spring quarter. Kinda bittersweet because no one likes school but but it helps me get out of the house more often.

Haven't had a pickle in a couple weeks. I don't know what's wrong with me.
I've been having several every day
