If he's cheap then it's an acceptable risk. Just not sure how he fits in the Leafs' plans. They're in at least a 2-3 year rebuilding phase. How does an older, injury-liable defenseman fit in that mold? Not much in the way of leadership either, multiple healthy scratches for late parties and long casino nights.
