Ia there a way to mark a location to come back at it later? Found a crashed ship but couldn't switch to because cargo too small. Went to a nearby station to sell some shit then came back to where i thought it would be and spent 10min till i finally found it. The lod redraw when flying doesn't help at all :/

Also after i landed i could've sworn the geography was different the first time i got there around the ship.

Guys I'm on like my 6th star system and I've still never found anything to upgrade my suit inventory with
You know what you're looking for? The weird half open vertical pods? I found several on my first planet, but I was going to every question mark for about 3 hours.

Just got the suspension fluid recipie... You've got to be fucking kidding me.

Its just 50 carbon lol

No, there really should be a way to add your own waypoints on a planet. The lack of even an overhead map of what you've uncovered is killer. I'd like to be able to fly over a planets surface, surveying from the air and dropping waypoints on interesting areas before landing.

I've barely spent any time on one single planet. I've been running from one Altus Station to the next. There are so many planets I don't mind missing something. Odds are it'll be on another planet.

It's made resource management way easier. I just keep the resources I need to survive and sell the rest. If I want to craft something, I go and hunt down the materials.

I think people getting bored or frustrated should try being more lax on letting things go. You'll run into that resource again later, even if it is rare.

I agree with this play style

Yeh the only items I hold on to now are things I need for fuel and to keep the suit/weapon going. Everything else I either sell or just disguard if it's super common and not worth anything.

Are those shielding shards/energy containers useful for anything at all? They seem to have a lot less energy than a full stack of elements while still taking up inventory space.

Got fucked by the preorder ship :(

I even waited with redeeming it until I arrived at my first space station, thinking that now I got the initial ship-building part behind me and can finally get rid of the annoying popup bubble.

I'm still in my first system, didn't dare to jump with my single available charge only to not be able to get new warps.

I still have like 1-2 planets left to visit. Between switching planets I got suddenly that forced icon that guided me back to an alien telling me how build the warp drive etc.
But so far nothing regarding the antimatter blueprint (the one for the warp itself I have), but I haven't visited many of the locked door houses yet.

Do you think I would actually have a higher chance on getting it in the second system? It seems to be random anyway as I received blueprints that I already own (and the game even acknowledges that).

Can't find my post lol how's the ps4 version run? Debating to open the ps4 version and roll or get it on steam. How's the limited edition stuff, anything worth while because I'd probably sell it if I get it for steam

Considering the entirety of the game is generated locally on the system itself and is wholly independent of online connectivity, I'm wondering if it would be possible to build either by the community or by HG themselves mod tools. It'd massively help with the longevity of the game.

it runs fine, for the most part

Hmm... so the game just let me claim a planet that showed as claimed in my star systems list as already claimed. There are two listings for the same planet in the system now, mine and someone else's.

ok wtf birds are broken , can't scan them, can't kill them...

EDIT: NVM, killed one, dude was like a final boss lol and 100'ed a planet! (animal wise)

I bit the bullet ...happy I did 8). I've crafted everything I need to to get off the planet but I'm now just stocking on resources and having a wander in the craft....found 3 non hostile species, 4 Gek words, a suit upgrade and a few other odds and ends...I think I'd rather get fully familiar with everything on foot before I venture out into the vastness of the universe. Feels rather rewarding I must say. Controls nicely ( though I did put sensitivity down to 20%). Visually I think it looks bloody nice! Much better than what I'd seen before the patch in previews etc etc. So yes, colour me impressed so far...

I'm sure I read about them saying something about modding. We'll quickly find out on Friday what can and cant be done with the game for sure, and I do hope we can mess around with it.

They really need to sort out the inventory in this asap. Far too fucking small to the point where I'm just not bothering mining stuff because I can't be arsed with it getting full, having to piss about deciding what to keep or dump, or go back and forward to a merchant to sell it (if I've actually found one on the planet at that point.) Really dumb that suit/ship upgrades take up slots too, haven't bothered crafting much of them either as a result. They need to add something like a vault you can only access in space stations to store stuff in.

I really don't see the point in the sentinels attacking you after you've mined and destroyed a certain amount of stuff either. The whole system seems pointless and if it's there to stop you from mining everything in site then the small inventory system already does that job and does it better at this point of the game.

What??? Can we run??? Damnnit, which is the running button? I spent hours yesterday on my starting planet trying to fix a better ship i found and if i knew i could run it would be much faster.

Absolutely loving the game and like so many others i missed my time for sleep going to bed only at 3 am (and waking up at 7!!).

Yes, I was contemplating on returning the game if I had to slog while exploring. For some wierd reason the sprint/run button is binded to R3 button. Cheers!

q t pie diglett!!!

I think I read the same thing. Customizability and modding for stuff like community generated quests, weapons, gear, ships, interface mods could make this game huge.

How are Atlas passes gained if it isnt too spoilery?

I second this. I could have sworn I seen them in dropped cargo very early on but inventory was full, got side tracked, and forgot to go back.

It's a crafting item. Have to find the blueprint.

Thank you. So I assume in random outposts and the like?

And I have to leave my first planet to get the Hyperdrive BP, or can if be randomly found at an outpost too?

Guys I'm on like my 6th star system and I've still never found anything to upgrade my suit inventory with

Never encountered any either while on my 3rd planet, so I went back to my starting one and the first 3 ? all had exosuit upgrade pods. Very weird, but glad it happened.

Sadly I'm not gonna buy it... I wanna play it, but if there's a chance that will be PSVR compatible I rather wait and try it for the first time in VR... so without any calarification I can't even play it without VR... so is useless to buy I game I don't know I'll play.

I can also see how the upgrade system would piss some people off, but I really dig how it forces some decisions.

"You can do that, but it will cost you."

Really don't think the draw artificing would go well with VR.

I have 25 slots in just barely my 3rd star system.
Location of upgrades:
You have to find capsules that look like drop pods scattered around the planet. They will show up as ? locations.
