Visuals aren't that good here, but man... those enemies are amazing. Can't wait.
The video quality sucks. Look at the text at the lower right and the artifacting. Why are the textures so extremely low res in this video? There's also some major blur on most of the foliage. It looks like a PC game on very low.
I mean, they have showed bad videos before, but this is beyond that.

That's one pretty game.
I'm in XV hell.

Compare these to the screenshots in the OP. I'm fairly sure the final game will look nowhere as bad as this (in fact, I'm convinced it will look great), but why would they even release this footage.

Do you bruh.I'm in XV hell.
Do you bruh.
I got the regular edition
Season pass
Strategy guide(for collection purposes)
Game informed magazine in a frame(lol)
And the DVD/anime Blu-ray
I don't get it...Heh I hope you won't want to destroy the frame after playing the game.
When one only comment on negative stuff like that in that fashion, it can come of more as that than being seen as constructive criticism.Critique does not=hate.
Graphics are bad but the art is beautiful and the music is excellent. I hope they replace that stand by me nonsense with this.
So, have they released a video yet that isn't smeared all over with vaseline and compressed to hell and back?![]()
Just have the Deluxe + harcover piggyback guide for now. I am pretty optimistic about the game and won't let the internet ruin it for me closer to launch.I preordered the UCE brehs.
I live it.
(Regret may kick in)

Oh my lord I'm so sick of people complaining about the game's visuals with EVERY screenshot and video. Just wait until release.
As a lot of others have stated, FFXV looks like a game that is stuck in a weird place because of the weak hardware of the console. Before you point at UC4, it is an exclusive and also a first party release. Both are entirely different in scope.I mean, is that really fair? The game is 1.5 months from release. Uncharted 4 was consistency considered amazing visually up until and after release. Why can't a Japanese company on relatively equal footing with Naughty Dog (in their respective countries at least) be held to the same standard? I don't doubt that I'll gush over 15 when it releases (visually, at least) but I also don't notice many flaws that others do.

Wow I can't believe that a high budget incredibly linear game is really consistent visually compared to a very large open world game, (from Japan), who would've guessed that?I mean, is that really fair? XV is a solely next gen project, if this is console footage I appreciate the honesty for what they're going for visually.XV is at the end of the day a former PS3 game, no (could be wrong tho)? Add that to SEs love of biting off a bit more than they can chew and the general rocky development process and yes, the game will look funny in the light a few times.
we are lucky to even get XV at the end of the day. Its not going to be perfect, not even close. It would take a miracle for that after the development process it has gone through.
people are expecting far too much IMO

Not to mention one is targeting a single platform versus the other being multiplatform. Even Witcher 3 took a while to get the balance right after numerous patches.Wow I can't believe that a high budget incredibly linear game is really consistent visually compared to a very large open world game, (from Japan), who would've guessed that?

In what world does this not look great? After playing previous Final Fantasies (apart from 13), can you really say we are expecting too much? Every single game has looked great. I don't think anyone can deny that.
I don't really care if people are interested in graphical discussions or not. It's entirely cool if you are, and people can show that level of investment on that kinda thing.
But at least don't embarrass yourself and lose your shit over a vaseline-smeared YouTube upload.
