That is a beta link though?

I think if you want off the beta track you should delete the beta profile then update to 10.0 when it's out on the 13th I think it is.
holy fucking shit it takes forever to update watch firmware
By the time it's done the new watches will be out
Edit: is single sign-on not available in the tvOS GM or am I going crazy?
Isn't it supposed to be in iOS 10 as well?
The beta profile lets you install the GM 10.0.1 right now. Do that, and then delete the profile.I think if you want off the beta track you should delete the beta profile then update to 10.0 when it's out on the 13th I think it is.
The wallpaper options in iOS 10 are pretty sad.Any new wallpapers?
Apps have to be updated to support it.Isn't it supposed to be in iOS 10 as well?
new to watchOS 3, so glances are completely gone now?
Tried it on an iPad Pro 12.9 and got an error code 14 in iTunes when updating lol

Got an error for my iPhone as well.
Apparently need Xcode 8 installed and running, and that's only on macOS.
There is no 10 GM file out now. The 10.0.1 is a new beta indeed.
I'm on GM - updated OTA this morning and it says I'm on 10.0.1.There is no 10 GM file out now. The 10.0.1 is a new beta indeed.

Then no GM has been released, because 10.0.1 was the update pushed to developer devices today. But it doesn't make sense to call it 10.0.1 and you can't install it without Xcode meaning it is at least treated as a beta file.
Is downloading the Sierra GM from the App Store the only way of getting it when it's released to those in the public beta, or can you just download it from elsewhere like with the iOS GM?
I opted out of the beta a few months ago and went back to El Capitan because I was having a lot of annoying bugs on my mid-2013 Air and never tried it again since then. It's still in my download list so I could just get it again, but I don't know what version I'd be downloading since it doesn't say.
Huh?But it doesn't make sense to call it 10.0.1 and you can't install it without Xcode meaning it is at least treated as a beta file.
Huh?
I don't know what you guys are talking about. Do you know what GM means?
This is what likely happened:
- Apple internally created a build with version 10.0 intending it to be the GM released to developers.
- A critical bug, error or omission is found in that build.
- They fix that bug and create another build with version 10.0.1. This replaces 10.0 as the GM build.
And what will happen over the next week:
- Barring discovery of any other critical bugs, errors or omissions, 10.0.1 GM will be released to the public as-is.
- Otherwise, another build will be created with fixes for the newly discovered issues and released to the public.
A GM is a release candidate, meaning it'll be exactly the same as what is publicly released if no issues are found as mentioned above. It technically straddles the boundary between a beta and the final version since it may be different to a public release.
But all these declarations that 10.0.1 isn't the 10.0 GM but a new beta instead are ridiculous. Ya'll don't know what you're talking about.
It hasn't. Don't know why anyone would expect that?So is it known yet if any sort of dark UI option has made it into the new iOS?

He's saying that the previous GM did not require a dev to install anyone could install the gm without issues for some reason this GM only shows up for people who are on a paid beta profile paid developer. If you dig through reddit it you'll see there is two builds for iOS 10 iOS 10.0 GM (14A345)
iOS 10.0.1 Beta 1 (14A403)
Surprise features are usually tied to new hardware releases. But Dark Mode could come in iOS 10.1 or another point release later on.There were reports that it there were references to it in some of the betas, or at least rumours of it becoming a thing. I haven't been following the betas, hence why I asked.
This is always the time of year where I start to think about just upgrading and ditching the jailbreak, then remember there's one tiny little tweak that makes my life much easier, and so I end up waiting months for the new jailbreak.
Yes. Unless as was said, another big problem is found, this will be what the public gets. When the public downloads it next week will it say 10.0.1 or 10.0?
So unlike past GMs, this one requires you to be running XCODE to install it?
For all of the past iOS GM releases I've always been able to just install via iTunes after downloading the file.
Current iTunes don't have support for iOS 10, that's the hiccup. So XCode 8 (which does) is currently required.
Makes sense. I do remember past GM updates requiring an unreleased version of iTunes that had to be manually downloaded.
No. You didn't need a new iTunes version. The device just wouldn't be recognized anymore after the update. To update to the GM neither Xcode nor the beta version of the new iTunes was required.
iOS 10 GM available for public beta users through the normal software update channel.
Just got that email. Gonna hunt for some IPSWs.
For what? Anything you have the beta profile installed you can just update to the GM as you normally would.
I don't have my phone on a beta profile. I can still do that now right?
