Source?Apparently, yes.
I'm so disappointed. I'm 38 years old and I have no desire for a handheld console.
Sony and MS and getting to 4K and VR and Nintendo is stuck on barely better than Wii U graphics at 720p because they think people will still buy a handheld on 2017.
I don't get it.
No IR remote
No touchscreen
No Dual screen
No Gyro
First for me since SNES. I need it NOW!1st Nintendo console for me since n64. Can't wait looks great.
Do you like to buy a switch? I don't like to buy a key, switch, or something like that. The Nintendo lacks ideas for naming its products.
Only question: what is the resolution of the screen?
This looks... exactly like the Wii U controller, only it's detachable.
And yikes that bulky controller is giving me OG XBox controller flashbacks.
I'm 37 and I prefer a handheld console. I don't always want to be in front of my TV.
Best of both worlds here.
So Nintendo will keep running a "real" handheld besides this, right? No way this will replace the 3ds.
This is their new console. I don't see this being less than 300 but 250 would be incredible. The interesting thing will be game price. If they are moving handheld games to this thing will they charge 60 bucks for a handheld game?
My feelings exactly.
Begin the name arguement!
The side controllers look too small to function as a separate controller each, in adult hands.
The more I look at it the more I don't think making it so you can use each side of the controller as it's own controller was worth it.

Look at how small that is and how close the buttons and stick have to be. We will see how that feature is utilized, but I think I would have preferred just having a solid dpad on the controller that comes with the system. The "pro" controller looks okay enough but wouldn't have even needed it.
