There's a stable south of Kakariko village, with a shrine nearby for easy access
Thanks but it's too late for my horse now. I wasn't able to get her away from the cliffs by the ocean but I documented some of the journey.
Here is where I first started to traverse the mountains and where i got stuck in some back rain I had to wait out
Here is after it finally cleared up and I climbed to a near by peak to scope out the best path to my destination *slight geography spoilers I guess*. I tried to go around the mountain to the right
After bolting up the path up the mountain and being bombarded by enemies, I realized I was going too high so I started to scale down the side of the mountain, ending with moments like this there I had nowhere to go but straight down, literally sliding down the rockface on the horse
After nearly freezing to death, I finally make it to a clearing at the bottom of the mountain but unfortunately there is no way back up and not many options for how to travel around the mountain. I'm surrounded by ocean on one side and a steep mountain on the other, but at least I had a brief moment of respite with a rainbow in the distance
After fruitlessly trying to scale the sides of the cliffs, my only option was to go down to sea level and hope there was some flat ground to travel around the mountain but my horse didn't want to swim and follow me through the ocean. She was probably just too tired and knew it was her time. I watched helplessly while I thought she might drown
After thinking she was lost and failing to put her out of her misery, she was eventually able to follow me to a small rock and climb on top. The sun had finally came out for the first time in what felt like an entire day and while I knew I had to say goodbye, we at least got to share one last sunset together while I fed her her favorite apples.
RIP Seafoam
I'll never forget you. :'(
