Someone of you guys know if i can buy the warm doublet (lvl2) or where it can be found?

You can't buy it. You need to get it at level 1 and upgrade it.
To find it:
3 possibilities: Get the correct recipe to the old man on the Plateau and he will give it you. Or climb the highest point of the Plateau, the old man will be there and will give it to you as the reward. Or go to the old man's cabin once obtaining the parasail, it will be in a chest there.

What would've been nice is a stat screen: time played, deaths,
koroks found
, even dumb stuff like arrows fired, ...

Thanks. I already have it.
So
the fairy at Kakario Village can do this, right?
- haven't been there in a while and need to get back.

This year is crazy. I already thought Persona 5, RE7, Y0, Horizon and Nier would be locked to fight for the top GOTY spot and then Zelda comes along and ignores the 2017 bout to grab the big prize. This is definitely in the running for being one of the best games of all time.

How come there is a Horizon Zero Dawn screenshot thread but there isn't one for BotW?

I've been taking so many pictures and it doesn't seem right to flood the discussion thread with them.

is there a recommended
first divine beast i should go after? I've started got to the leftmost one first because that seemed closest, but all enemies in that area destroy me in like one hit

That's what great fairies are for. :)

Yeah right, i just didn't have the warm doublet when i was there first time and i thought there some armor items you cannot upgrade, but why should it count for the doublet.

Thanks, first thing i'll do after work. Need to climb some cold mountains already.

You can upgrade the inventory space
with Korok seeds
.
About durability, I actually like it, it´s forced me to try every kind of weapon and constantly change my fighting style. It also adds another layer of tension when you are running out of weapons. You just have to learn to not get attached to your weapons, just use them when you need them and if they break chances are you´ll soon find something even better not long after.

I like using lots of weapons, but each one still breaks after 8-12 hits at the moment. It's pretty stupid.

Difficult to share? I don't want to post them to Facebook and Twitter so I'm stuck. Bit shit really.

You can't upgrade that item.

Honestly that's one of the great things about this game. If you're struggling in that area, just go try a different one and see if you have an easier time. I can't speak for sequence order cause I haven't finished the game but the way the travel works its not a chore to just warp somewhere else, try something new and come back to it.

Is there a screen shot function on the wii u?

There is, and if I'm not mistaken, it was there before any other consoles had the ability built in.

Not really.

On the Wii U, you can visit Miiverse on your desktop browser and get a higher quality jpg.

On the Switch, you can post to Facebook and have it only be shared with you so you aren't flooding your friend's timelines with screenshots.

Okay so I just found out there's a hard limit of 60 meals you can store at a time.

Also did anyone else find a glut of arrows on the way to Zora's Domain? I started off with like 10 and now I have well over 100 by the halfway point.

Yeah, after posting this is exactly what I did and immediately found something else cool to do

Man, what a game

Damn you're right, I hadn't used it since I got
the clothes in Rito village
and didn't realize that. My bad.

You can find better cold resistance clothes in
Rito village
.

Okay, thank you :)

He mentions that he dropped it off the side of the bridge. It's pretty much directly under where he gives you the quest; it didn't go downstream with the water at all from what I remember (as I originally started searching towards the waterfall thinking it would have drifted somewhat).

This is what sprang to mind immediately and I thought it'd be a whole ordeal to find it.

Didn't take me long to go back to 0.

Good game so far. Into the second area. I'm kinda finding the lack of music slightly off with the game. Through the story bits it's good but just over all with traveling, battles, etc., just doesn't give me that epic feeling. But damn, the exploring is a lot of fun.

I killed my first guardian. That was intense.

Yep. Enemies there always seem to drop bundles of 5 so it's a nice way to farm them.

There is a reason for this down the line.

After four days of pretty much non-stop play, I finally beat the game.

So. Damn. Good. I'm excited for more people to have played enough to openly talk about the game.

lil bit over 20 hours.. haven't gotten to the first dungeon but I am loving everything about this game so far..

Can someone clarify this story point for me, hopefully without spoilers:

the back story of link/zelda/beasts/champions vs Ganon is referred to as "10,000 years ago" by some Impa and the singing bird but then Link was asleep for a 100 years? And recovered memories show me with the champions from 100 years... is it a 100 or 10,000....or am i just confused.

10000 years ago the Sheikah developed the Towers, Beasts and Guardians and where able to successfully stop Ganon (with the help of a different Link and Zelda from that time). Then, 100 years ago, Ganon appeared again, but this time he´d learned his lesson and took control of the Guardians and Beasts. Link was so badly damaged (a supposition as I still haven´t reached the part of the game where this is shown) he was put into the Resurrection Chamber, while Zelda stood at Hyrule Castle sealing Ganon´s power. Fast Forward 100 years to present day, Link awakens and Zelda is still fighting to keep Ganon from getting outside of teh castle. In summary:
-More than 100000 years ago: The Sheikah develop the Guardian, Tower and Divine Beast technology in preparation for the resurrection of Ganon, an evil being which periodically appears every 10000 years.
-10000 years ago: Ganon appears, is fought back successfully thanks to the Divine Beasts and Guardians.
-100 years ago: Ganon reappears, seizes control of the Divine Beasts and Guardians, beats everyone but is trapped in the castle by Zelda.
-Today: Link reawakens, Ganon is still trapped in the castle by Zelda.

About the same time as you and I've only beaten one dungeon and discovered a quarter of the map. This game is huge.

I know the game has tons of content but I still don't want it to end. I'm actually super looking forward to the DLC. I hope it adds a whole new area with a new village etc too, maybe that is too much to ask for though.

Also, hopefully they patch the game to fix some of the flaws, I'd be amazing if they just made the inventory management system better.

man

imagine if they implemented an ocarina in this game

btw is anyone getting any use out of the rods against big enemies? they don't seem to do jack shit

I've been holding one of each just for elemental fuckery.

The fire/ice ones do help out in the opposite environments for temp too.
