There is absolutely nothing stopping them from making a prequel. ESPECIALLY because its not called Mass Effect 4

To be fair I've had to contact them multiple times in the past and had mostly positive experiences.
I don't see why the door is closed for another sequel.

Nah, I actually think the premise for andromeda is super interesting, it's just that somehow they managed to make it the most uninteresting thing in the world.

I'd like to see a Mass Effect game during the first contact with the mass relays and the early stuff with other races like the war with the Turians, I think that would be cool.

Hey duders curious curious here. Will leaving the switch on the dock kill it's battery eventually? I mean it provides the console a charge so will it over charge it like phones? Should I not leave it docked over night?

This is what kills me. The idea of frontiers and colonization and first contact and cultural assimilation are such ripe topics for good, thoughtful sci-fi stories... but instead they wuss out and make it so you're fighting a Big Ugly Bad Alien who's chasing Yet Another Precursor Race, and don't worry about the politics of the Andromeda initiative because there are only two new races in this whole galaxy anyway and one of them is clearly evil so whatever

Make a First Contact War game. Make a Garrus as a C-SEC Office game. Make a short story collection game. There are so many good things you can do in the Milky Way part of Mass Effect's universe while still being very disconnected from Shepard's adventure. Christ, Andromeda just has me so bummed. I keep playing it and keep getting more and more checked out.

I kind of wish I hadn't played this in regular 2D. It seems so well suited for VR. Some of the environments would be amazing in a headset.
