I immediately liked how they pulled off the reveal. Big twists having a grandiose presentation can kill off some of the impact through how predictable it's conveyed, ironically enough. Subverting that really makes the audience go "wtf" and think about what they just read/heard in a way that a "proper" reveal wouldn't.
How the crucial dialogue is sandwiched between non-essential dialogue, how the focal points of the reveal are shoved aside as the camera pans away from them, how quickly Reiner's lines are delivered after "We need to talk,"... I really enjoy it.
