I was just coming to post this. It's a shame, but you can still grind for Source Crystals. What I'm curious about is whether or not there's a hard cap for the Crystals earnable in-game.

Very rare. It's almost always worthwhile to spend meter as soon as you get it.
That's a shame, but what I expected.
Hopefully they sell costume packs. It's all I care about personally. I'm level 43 with story mode beaten and have only earned about 9k crystals. Got Jay, half way to Vixen...
They don't seem to be used often, no. Most of them are actually quite easy to block and dodge unless the person times it perfect to catch you on a bounce or otherwise in the middle of a combo, and even then it still has to connect in specific ways.
The meter burns and clash resolutions are much better and reliable uses of the meter.

Hm... yeah it looks like they may have discontinued the FC4 in favor of the newer FC you're looking at.
I don't think you'd be going wrong with that one, they're very similar pads quality-wise. I just didn't feel the newer symmetrical design was quite as comfortable.

Btw sorry about whoever invited me ot the Guild boss from house of Ls 2 I was turboing characters all yesterday so wasn't really on. If I see it next time I will definitely be down to try it out.

Either it got scarecrow because he was already teleporting when it was used or it's tracking and you have to straight block it. Someone would have to test it.

So what are the chances of a returning characters pack, or another season of DLC? I get the impression the game is already wildly successful.
Personally I want to see Shazam, Sinestro, and MMH return.
I'm sure people are aching for Nightwing and Batgirl though.

I could see at least 3 more DLC character or even more after the initial announced 9 characters.
I think Shazam and MMH chances are very slim but Sinestro could have a chance imo. Instead of Batgirl i could see Batwoman.
I hope they do it.
There has to be a reason why at least two MKX characters will be appearing in the DLC beyond 'guest characters' - it probably allows them to get the characters out quickly.
They should do a 'Returning Characters' pack. Take 9 from Injustice 1.
Nightwing, Batgirl, Shazam, Sinestro, Martian Manhunter, Lex Luthor, Lobo, Zatanna, Raven...
Doomsday, Hawgirl, even Ares. Killer Frost and Solomon Grundy would still be interesting, but probably at the bottom of the list.
There are a ton of great characters that they'd already have at-least half of a movelist for.

My BC is too good. I'm stuck in Endless because she refuses to lose a match and I don't want to quit to main menu and lose the challenge.
There was a guy on Reddit who is now top of the leaderboards accidentally because he won 300-odd fights. He ended up losing as when he got grey gear, he swapped it out for his good gear to nerf his stats.
I'd say it's pretty likely. Within the last few weeks...
- Boon said there would be "at least" nine DLC characters
- Boon said the game would be supported for "more than one year," and the first nine DLC characters all release in 2017
- Boon held a Twitter poll asking if people wanted to see returning characters as DLC
- Boon mentioned the possibility of old characters coming back as DLC in an interview
I just went 44 fights deep with a low gear Batman using the same set-up. None of my other builds go further than 30 fights in Endless.

I think it is too, not because the raw execution is harder, both games are easy-enough (still hard compared to non-fighting games) to execute their combos, but Injustice's are longer, which makes them harder by default. SFV has slightly more nuanced execution for its smaller combos though, I would say, as each button press is timing restricted, Injustice allows you to input a complete sequence at once, then only at particular points in the combo do you need to delay, and press a button at a particular time.
Injustice at large is like playing a SFV character like Ibuki, where her combos are initiated with simple target combos but the moments that intersect those simple strings can be quite complex. Still, I feel that SFV makes up for that simplicity with a better neutral game, footsies, more options for blockstrings and frametraps, etc.

The voice acting in this game is damn good
You can get this for 15 at most stores, and it feels sturdy and nice.
It also has pikachu on it, cant' go wrong with pikachu.
Though with it you can't really have a throw shortcut you have to do B+Y, and the interactable button has to be the ZR button, but it's right next to the face buttons, so it's easy to hit.
Dr Fate is such a cool character. From colors, to outfits, etc.
However, all the other zoning characters in this game get way more damage across the board and combo capability which is a shame. Like, why use Fate when you could rock Oliver and still get 400+ damage off 1 meter? I watched a Fate combo video and the best people were getting was 400+ off 2 meters and tight timing. Fuck that.

Definitely. It's really impressive that they keep the same development time between games but the standard rises each time.
Costume packs? I'm sure they'll sell them. Easy money.
