When you have a fantastic game and loose because of an AFK :-(.

Your views on the final boss is the common sentiment I've seen here. Which is weird, because I thought 2's was a lot better. Felt like an actual boss instead of a stage.

Nah, at one point they got to our base area using the hoverjet special (until I splattered themBut he died twice. Wouldn't that mean he just sucks?

Lmao somebody drew "Mom left us at Best Buy"
I'm dying
What weapon are you using? Ink Armor absorbs up to 30 HP of damage before breaking, so if you don't deal enough damage it will take you more than one hit to get rid of it.
Just discovered the Murch guy.... so that's how I get the cool outfits.
How does the music minigame even activate? I keep pressing buttons and nothing happens.
You're invincible in spawn. He did stuff, died twice and disconnected (DC's always show 0p regardless of how much you did).Nah, at one point they got to our base area using the hoverjet special (until I splattered them).
Yea, there was so much potential with all those new stage mechanics added. Plus instead of just a circular grind rail, the last part could have been a full section where you are chasing him on the rails, and maybe even the squid sisters are also on rails while singing.I think the "stage" aspect is what many people liked about Splatoon 1's final boss. It felt for lack of a better word "Fresh" in how atypical it was from traditional boss battles. It was also much harder.
Splatoon 2s boss to me felt like a step back, not just from Splatoon's boss but also the previous boss fight vs thewhich was more difficult.Octoshower
Splatoon 1's final boss tested the player on almost everything the game had shown you mechanically up to that point. Splatoon 2 didn't. There were no boost pads, bounce pads, invisible platforms, moving platforms ect. This is why the final phase is the best, since it starts to impliment that.

Didn't know a DC showed as 0p.You're invincible in spawn. He did stuff, died twice and disconnected (DC's always show 0p regardless of how much you did).
How is everybody handling gear management? I can never seem to get a hang of it.
Right now I've got several 4-slot pieces of equipment I scrub every time they fill up so I can collect ability shards, but it's really slow going on that (I'm level 13, got the 4-slots through the app and salmon run). But I don't want to be way behind people with cuatomiazed stuff when I hit higher levels.
earlier I also saw "Left my kids at Best Buy"
also "If I let you down please be nice to me, I'm only 26"
lol
Scroll through songs with stick, hit - (Minus) to select Normal/Hard, hit + (Plus) to play the level.
I thought the + was the D-Pad, it took me way too long to figure it out.
The default mode is just a sound test, push the button to change difficulty.

So about 8 out of 10 matches end with "Connection Unstable."
Anyone else has this issue?

2 years later.Oh.
Crusty Sean.
Crustacean.
Now I get it.
Dear javadoze,Dear internet randos,
Please stop using Aerosprays.
So questions regarding gear abilities:
1.) In the in-game store, will a piece of gear always have the same primary ability every time it appears? How about in the Splatnet store?
2.) When I scrub or re-roll the abilities on a piece of gear, will this change the primary ability, or is it locked?
On any map, really - they got a huge buff.A good charger on Moray Towers is a real pain in the ass.
I have yet to play with a competent brush. I'm at 16 SUPERFRESH with the Splattershot Jr. I'm afraid to use anything else now. :lolJust don't bring Aerospray into Ranked lol. Sloshers and brushes are very helpful. If you need to bring a gun, make sure it has decent range.
To anybody who's scared to hop onto rank. Chances are (now) you're matching up with a bunch of new players too.
Just dive in. I never played Splatoon before 2 and I had no idea what to do on those games. Now I'm B rank in almost all the modes.

Wow, Aerospray, you go, you top of the board player, you. Thanks for losing us all the control we had by causing an endless 3v4, you da best
also a sniper should never ink more than you
Edit: to clarify, enemy sniper beat out our Aero's score
52 gals have generally always been some of the better players Im up against in both games.I had an Aero that did 350 in a game. I also had a better score than all the Aeros on my team and I was using a Gal.

Aerospray load out is really good in Rainmaker.
as a new player you have a pretty high chance to do better with a spray than a brush, aerospray is even used in a good few top rainmaker teams
when i play that weapon in turf war i literally average 1k across 50 games lol
i dont know where all the everyone using the weapon is bad stuff is coming from
its noob bait yeah but in actual capable hands in turf war and rainmaker the weapon is disgusting and is used in some top rainmaker comps in fact
Guys, when talking turf wars, is there even a point in picking anything else than Arerospray? From what I've seen so far, players with this weapon always come on top of the team. Sometimes I knew if I'm going to win just noticing that my team had 3 Aerosprays and the other team had none.
Is it different in higher levels?

1. Yes, gear from in-game stores will always have the same main ability. Gear from Anniezon will potentially come with a different main ability though. For example, the Takaroka Mesh hat normally has Sub Defense Up for the main ability, but last night Anniezon was selling a Takaroka Mesh with Tenacity instead. So questions regarding gear abilities:

Ideal makeup is something like this, for Turf Wars:
- 2x Aerospray
- 1x .52 or .96 Gal
- 1x Splat Charger (can swap for something else on certain maps, like The Reef)
I love Splatoon 2, but yesterday I couldn't believe my luck! I'm pretty good, but it seemed at times I just couldn't win a game.
And then one time, my team lost to a team of three! How does that happen???
I haven't leveled up enough to try the tri-slosher yet.i mean, it would be the same comp as a rainmaker team
you can literally have 4 tri sloshers as the best comp in the game because it kinda is right now

I've noticed there is definitely some kind of skill matching going on the background (outside of Ranked, of course) because I'm routinely the only level 10 player in a game full of 25-35s.
