Pro tip: If you really hate Flyfish but can't reach them because there's 50,000 things in the way to stop you from bombing them, try using the Sting Ray.

tfw you use two stingrays to take out two flyfish and a steelhead but there are still like 5 bosses in the middle of the map

Was actually really bummed that
Off the Hook didn't have any impact on the story at all. The story of the first game gave a bit of depth to Callie and Marie, something that this game doesn't do for Off the Hook. Off the Hook is just there (not counting the two scrolls they are barely part of). I hope they do story DLC eventually so Off the Hook gets their due.

After a terrible start where I was demoted, I managed to regain my former rank and get all the bonus. So, I will stop here since the weapons for the next session looks better. I hate the charger with the scope, especially on the high tides part. Just give me a normal charger next time.
Once you hit level 30 talk to Judd and he'll give you a super sea snail each time you level up. You'll also get snails for participating in splatfest.
Unlike the first game there doesn't seem to be any way to spend money to add slots or reroll right now.

Did the Callie and Marie amiibo suddenly become expensive? Seeing posts for people wanting to buy the sets and seeing it go for $65+ now. Hope Nintendo makes more of them.
The first game made them extremely popular characters and with Splatoon 2 new people are comin in too seeing em for the first time in the story mode. So more new Squid Sister fans too wich means new/more demand for the amiibo.
Nintendo should make some new ones to sell.

Lol well the Marie vs Callie splatfest was very close win for Marie tho! I wonder by how much % Marina is gonna win from Pearl lol with Marie and Callie it was only by a few % in difference with Marie winning.

If you hit an enemy and they try to escape, you will be able to see their silhouette through objects. You basically become the Predator. It's especially great on something like the squelcher because you should be aiming to keep opponents at around max range when possible so that you are safe from return fire. After you splat someone a time or two this way they'll usually get the picture and start running from you. Now you can stalk your prey.

So I just played Salmon Run for the first time. Played a number of sessions and I really enjoyed it. Lets give this mode a go in solo.....WHY IS THERE NOT AN OPTION TO PLAY THIS MODE SOLO?!

It's very much made to be played as a team, with a number of the mechanics (such as glowfish targeting) not really working solo. Also there are some bosses that are made to have multiple people take them on to beat them, like that one that has to be distracted, or the steelhead which targets a player

Ha well i do prefer both Squid Sister above any Off the Hook member tho but if i had to choose i prefer Marina more than Pearl but just a little i like both tbh. Same as i prefer Marie slightly above Callie altho Callie is miles above pearl and marina on my scale lol same for Marie.

And yet....Marina is still superior. No one's perfect! But I will stand by what I think is right. For example, if we had the Rock vs Pop Splatfest, I would have gone with #TeamRock all the way.

I did go ketchup in the end because I'm pretty indifferent between mayonnaise and ketchup but that gremlin Pearl is just too awful. However, if she'd been team mustard, especially team Colman's English Mustard - or even team horseradish or team brown sauce - I might have had to reconsider.
Though your condiment choice is admirable you are nontheless a traitor to your false idol.
