Followed by a 3v4. Nothing wrong with matchmaking tho.
I wonder what next week's meme is going to be.
Just had the most intense Splat Zones match in Muscleforge Fitness. My team took control from the getgo until we hit 1 sec then the opposition took over. They dominated until their clock gets to 4 sec. Then we exchanged control of the zone while both teams were in penality until the main clock ran out and we got the win. That was intense AF!

Anyone have tips for the Sector 4 boss (UFO) without a charger? I'm on stage 3 and my blaster can not reach him at all (even jumping up a roller)
I've never really understood the hate for "furry crap". Gaming as it is, has its roots in anthropomorphic creatures such as Banjo, Sonic, Yoshi, Star Fox, Pokemon, Crash, Spyro, and it goes on.
It's not really my cup of tea, but at this point, the hate is more of a meme than the furry art is. I think most people don't even understand why they dislike it, it's just something people do online.
Pretty common in lower ranks and MMR. Try winning a game or two and see if you notice the change. People who can't hold connection are more likely to be found in the lower end of the player base.
The matchmaking has quite a few problems but no matchmaking system ever will take out of people who DC or leave mid-game.
I'm level 28. How many matches do I need to win before I get paired with an actual team?
If you're talking about turf wars I don't know how likely it is to stop happening.

How many more matches do I need to win?
That's your lvl not MMR. MMR is a hidden stat that decides who you play with in Turf War. Your level doesn't really affect it afaik. The lower the MMR the more likely you are to encounter people with connection problems generally speaking.

For what it's worth I have been seeing less disconnects in turf wars but on weekends they seem larger.
Can you link to a source on this? The bolded specifically.
My d/c's have been the same since launch day. It's so rampant.
You don't really need a source. You get matched based on skill level as determined by wins/losses, disconnected players get losses.
So because I win a lot, I get paired with people that d/c? How does that make any sense?
Can you link to a source on this? The bolded specifically. Also, how does that disprove that the matchmaking in this game is shit?
Nintendo Dream starts off by asking how matchmaking works. Amano mentions that rather than focusing on levels, the game pairs players with similar playstyles in Turf War. Levels are more of an indicator for how long the person has played the game.
Since Splatoon matches users together based on how they play, Amano notes that those who tend to splat enemies are likely to play together. Likewise, those who concentrate on painting rather than splatting are more likely to get paired up.
Its the most difficult boss by far because it just isn't designed for anyrhing without some good reach.
Dont forget about the rails on either side that lead you up to attack range when its not really at any particular tower.
Another good tip is you can bounce on its head which will definitely have you in blaster range.
If you haven't already, upgrade the blaster so you can fire at a reasonable rate.
They've always been a brazen bunch but you're right that its just become something people do, particularly online.
It doesn't really have a place in Splatoon but the same can be said for all the non-Splatoon themed memes.
as far as matchmaking working more on how a person plays and less on their level there's this:

Why would that I mean I get connected with players who d/c though? I have 0 d/cs according to the app.
Also, this is nonsense. I played a round where it was 60-30, they kept the teams the exact same and got the same results the next round. It doesn't make sense at all to build teams this way.
I've got nothing in regards to the dc's
I'm so close to being done with this game because of how awful the matchmaking is. I'm going to ride out the Splatfest and pray that it somehow gets better.
Alright what are the anti-Rapid Blaster/Tri-Slosher strats
Weirdly enough, the Tri-Slosher ain't that popular in Ranked in the A classes.Went up against a few tri-sloshers now, good grief at the kill range/spread on that weapon - I can't wait to unlock it.
oh god
splatfests are always the worst for me in regards to connection shit. I never have connection problems. haven't had them in this game and never had them in splatoon 1. except splatfests. splatfests were when I'd see frequent connection issues. happened in the first game and happened to me again for the pre-release splatfest for this game. I don't know what it is but it only happens for splatfests. in the first game I thought it was the regional matchmaking for most splatfests and americans having shittier internet in general.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who is seriously in the market for Salmon Run Joy-Con colours, orange and deep green.
I never played Splatoon 1, but in the campaign, what are those shining purse-looking collectibles for? I haven't been able to figure out what they do. Are they unlocking something somewhere that I don't know where to look, or are they doing something in the level that I'm not seeing?
Also: dang, they hide that sardinium and scroll really well in some of these stages!
