Brain freeze is very real and it can hurt like hell. It actually hurts the optic nerves behind your eyes. I'm very susceptible to it if I eat ice cream fast.

I've only had my stomach hurt with ice cream... but that happens with peppers and garlic too.

Worst brain freeze I ever had was from orange juice. I grabbed some from Spangles drive thru, not knowing it was full of crushed ice and drank it in huge gulps. Head hurt so bad that I had to pull over.
