Look, I'm not a fan of her. She comes across as a snobby bitch sometimes. With that being said, she's at least a fan of Nintendo, and a fan of the series. That's enough for me to say sure why not. I'd rather have someone who is a fan of the work they're portraying, than someone who doesn't give a shit, and wouldn't try to accurately portray the character.
 
I don't particularly like her but I'm not really against the idea.

She's a big name.

Just do it right and don't get in my face with the female empowerment bullshit.

Lookit Ripley. Everyone loves Ripley.
 
Can't think of a less likable actress for the role.

Sigourney Weaver could have done it I think, back in her Galaxy Quest days. Either her or Linda Hamilton.

I mean, Brie Larson's portfolio definitely reflects the capability to act out a character who says six sentences* and has no discernible emotion for the entirety of the runtime. Cheers, I say.

*Disregarding Other M's uh...liberties with the source material.
 
She's such a bad actress, lmao. I didn't see Captain Marvel, but I watched the last Avengers film recently. It was amusing that such a pivotal character was played by such a meh actress.
 
Okay but force her to wear the Zero Suit for most of the movie, tell her she needs to do squats to have a bigger butt, and then put her in sexually suggestive situations multiple times in the film.

Isn't Samus supposed to be a deadpan devoid of emotion killing machine anyway? lol
 
actors are just puppets, it'd be up to the director to get a decent samus outta her

she seems like a respectable choice but she'd need to bulk up beyond her marvel persona

Maybe on a job. She seemed to have personality in her flashbacks in Other M, and on friendly terms with Gandrayda, Rundas, and maybe Ghor in Prime 3. She doesn't really get to interact with people much in her games.
