it will most likely just announcements about old games going to gamepass. Since there are no games coming out now they kinda have to keep generating interest one way or another. In for the meltdowns if anything but full exclusivity for future titles is announced or hinted on.
In for the meltdowns of that happens also!In for the meltdowns if anything but full exclusivity for future titles is announced or hinted on.
Can't wait to listen to Phil talk so much and say so little lol
you guys are going to be disappointed if you're expecting literally anything at this.
Your second sentence describes XBOX for the last 7 yearsCurious to exactly what they plan to communicate..that the trailer didn't already explain.
People want to see games, not a bunch of people telling us about how they plan on making games together but hey we just can't let you see them yet lol.
...was sarcasm little buddy, simmer down. as in joking around because Phil never fully answers the questions people want. They just bought one of the biggest gaming publishers in the world! perhaps that somehow went over your head!
I agree with you but I seriously doubt they will show anything here. This sounds like a zoom meeting to me.Can MS really afford not to announce or at least show something new here, even just new Starfield footage or something, if Sony's rumored event near the end of the month ends up happening?
I was never expecting anywhere near a blowout of new info, but maybe something of a teaser of new info and/or footage for a Zenimax game coming exclusively to Xbox/PC (and potentially GamePass) would be a good way of continuing discussion and show more of a concrete idea of what they mean by supporting that ecosystem with some exclusive content.
And if only to quell the mob some, maybe another small update on Deathloop or Ghostwire:Tokyo. Doesn't even need to be anything too big. I bring all this up tho because obviously, the first two new games out of Zenimax through this acquisition are timed PS5 exclusives and now apparently an Xbox version of Deathloop isn't even currently in development. If I were a core constituent of the Xbox ecosystem I'd take that as a mild slap to the face. It's a bit like politics; you have to do a little something right by your core constituency/base here and there, too
(I mean this more directly at Microsoft), especially considering they're doing good at appealing too.
At the very least, if they can't do that through any Zenimax titles ATM (maybe they really want to save them for "E3"), then at least post a couple updates on XGS 1P titles that haven't had any new gameplay or game updates posted in a while. Hellblade II, Everwild are two that come to mind. Or try showing something new for Bright Memory Infinite, The Gunk, The Ascent maybe.
This has kinda turned into a "Microsoft not necessarily doing 100% by Xbox core base in showing new footage/details on platform-ecosystem exclusives" side rant but I guess that's the case since no new announcements are coming from this roundtable and (through prior deals) the company in the roundtable has more going on with a competitor's platform/ecosystem than that of their new parent company's (from what info is out there). I'm less interested ATM about what this means for GamePass and want to know more about what this means for Xbox, if you catch my drift.
Yup lolYour second sentence describes XBOX for the last 7 years
It will probably be similar to their other post acquisition videos:
So probably not any info on games
It's going to be a bunch of people talking about the history of thier studios and the history of their games, also how it's good to be joining the MS team. Nothing more.
The only meltdowns are going to be from people saying they wasted their time watching this.
Well, Greenberg literally says in the tweet (OP) :I really wish we were going to get some new game announcements but I think you've pretty much nailed what we are actually going to see.
Well, after getting bullied for seven years straight you can't expect the bullied kid to not one day fight back.Yall are just as bad as Sony fanboys.
Let's hope he's keeping the expectations low to better exceed them.Well, Greenberg literally says in the tweet (OP) :
"Note, this is NOT FOCUSED ON NEWS/REVEAL"
