shoot. That is a pity. So many games waste the excellent controller support of the switch.I just tried it for you. Its almost there, but not quite. The button mapping on Morph Ball and Missiles are switched if I remember correctly and there's no way to access the inventory in game from what I've found. The map is now bound to the pause button and both the Z button and R button are used the free aim.
Remaster and remake are differentYep, Capcom and Bluepoint could learn a thing or two from this remaster.
Wut, they are fully redoing games lolYep, Capcom and Bluepoint could learn a thing or two from this remaster.
Yeah, and?Remaster and remake are different
Yeah, while fucking up the art direction and atmosphere of the original games, which was my point.Wut, they are fully redoing games lol
Agree to disagree i guessYeah, and?

Nah, this one actually seems to respect the original game's art direction.
Not faithful to the game it's remastering tho.
It's just a door, I can forgive that.
It is between a remaster and a remake, but closer to a remaster.Oh, this is one of those Bluepoint-esque remasters. Nice.
I'll stick to the original on a crt with a GC controller. The way it's meant to be played.
My man, it sounds like you deserve treating yourself to a nice Metroid game.I want this pretty bad… hard time justifying buying it right now with my new job eating up so many hours. Turned on my ps5 once in 2 weeks
This is probably an accessibility decision rather than just pure graphical juice imo![]()
Comparison of the doors.
I haven't seen any red flags myself because I didn't play the original but even the shitty joycons with twin stick controllers must be a whole dimension better than original's.Yeah they changed quite a bit and not for the better. I would still like to try it to see how terrible it controls with shitty joy-cons but I'd rather buy it physical so I can sell it back.
The game wasn't designed to use dual sticks even though the GC controller had dual sticks.I haven't seen any red flags myself because I didn't play the original but even the shitty joycons with twin stick controllers must be a whole dimension better than original's.
But I get it, the sole reason I mostly prefer upressed ports at 60 fps instead of "graphically improved" remasters is WWHD, that game ruined the day sky lighting completely.
IDC, I just hated how it played on GC and that's the sole reason why I never got into itThe game wasn't designed to use dual sticks even though the GC controller had dual sticks.
The original also ran at 60fps.
What in tf kind of comment is this?
I'm comparing a major environmental element to show the upgrade in geometry and textures
Yep, Capcom and Bluepoint could learn a thing or two from this remaster.
The prime series is shit compared to the 2d games.. so ...

900p 60fps DockedWhats the resolution of this game
4k dolphin vs 4k yuzu/ryujinx would be a better comparison. The real comparison I want to see is Remaster vs 4K dolphin.
It is between a remaster and a remake, but closer to a remaster.
If you told me that's how any of the two words are said in German, I'd believe youA remakester

Comparison of the doors.
A remaster to me is just taking a game and giving it higher resolution, less dithered shadows, higher Anisotropic Filtering for textures, etc.It is between a remaster and a remake, but closer to a remaster.
That’s what any person who worked on this project is called.A remakester
