It's funny usually MS goes first with Xbox games Show and its Sony that chimes in saying "yea that's coming to PS too". The shoe is on the other foot this year. Xbox announcing many of those PS show games are coming to Xbox too. MS really has a chance to shine if they do this right. They have access to so many IP's now. It's time to show some of this stuff from 2018!

I was on your side but honestly after this Showcase (and especially with all the GAAS bullshit), I think Sony needs to be put in its place. If it takes Xbox owning Call of Duty to get some proper new games from Playstation Studios then so be it.

It's a massive IF to be honest. if Xbox showed what Playstation just showed, I'd actually be mildly impressed (because that's how low my expectations are for team green).
They have a pretty low bar to beat now given that abysmal Showcase, but based on their track record I'm still going into the Xbox event expecting shit and hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Considering the switch is the first piece of Nintendo hardware I've ever purchased, that's not something I anticipated coming into this year.
The problem is that current day Xbox don't even seem to be capable of putting up a challenge, even for "arrogant Sony".
I think we're fucked as far as this generation is concerned.
