It absolutely does. Grandma Delores doesn't need to listen to all the tech specs of 5 tiers of laptops. You can sell these to even the most tech adverse individuals easily. "This laptop allows you to use Facebook instantly with bright, easy to read text and allows you to play Gin Rummy with no issues!"

Shitty sales people will make excuses as to why they can't sell something or that something is "too difficult to sell".

Yea, I am pretty sure it works for *any* mag safe charger. I have a cheapo 30 dollar one for my apple watch, Phone, and Air Pods Pro from Target. Works well and I dont' see why it woudln't work for this new feature. Only issue I can see is if the charger doesn't charge fast enough for whatever battery this drains. But it seems to also be very similar to the "always on display" that modern iPhones have, which hasn't cause dissues for this charger of mine.

I am very happy with the lock screen changes for iPad and the "live" wallpapers for iMac. I have my TV and PC screens using live wallpapers already to act as "living picture frames". Not for everyone, but it makes my space feel a lot cleaner.

I have an M1 Max Mac Studio so I don't think I'll be upgrading yet, but I do think I'm done with Windows PC's. My main use is productivity software and 6K RAW video editing. If they have resolved the fingerprint issue on the midnight MacBook Air I might get the 15". Otherwise I'll take another look at the 16" MacBook Pro.
