Art direction and designs look interesting, but the game looks really mediocre and visually rough/cluttered overall.

Pass.

Eh. The second the Asian female writer started talking about the game's story being about "how do you maintain hope in the face of an existential threat?" or some such, I kind started to check out. I'm not interested in listening to people whine and cry and try to process their trauma for 40 hours. Sounds too much like Veilguard.

Looks good, concerned about an overly bloated skill tree, but will keep an eye on this for positive reviews. Could be a day 1 game.

Something about this looks sus. Like it's going to have a lot of issues on launch. This is pure a gut feeling with no real foundation.

Why do the environments look so foggy. And some weird animations at times.

Indie game. Will probably be a bit of a mess at launch.

More like Final Fantasy X I felt.

Whatever it might be, I'm not interested in playing a game that basically consists of the writer lambasting me with whining, crying, "woe is me" adults. I don't need therapy. And I don't want to play a game that involves a story that is basically the writer's or writers' attempts to be their own therapy.

This is how square should have evolved the combat of ff7 in a proper remake if they really wanted to shake things up but still maintain turn based combat.

Very promising.

Looks great... but... hmmm... feels like every trailer looks the same, with just enemies swapped out. Might wait for reviews. The world map is cool though! Hadn't seen that before

There's an actual overworld map? Wow. This keeps getting better.

Does seem like it'll make sense to wait for reviews and maybe for version 1.03 or something like that to get a solid performance.

I'm really hoping this turns out to be good. I want devs to see that turn-based is a choice that can work in modern RPGs and not just a limitation from the 90s.

First mod im doing is reducing the amount of fog in the game.
Im sure this game will look stunning with less fog, they turned the setting up way too high.

The world map reminds me of Ni no Kuni 2, game looks fantastic.

You know .. that's a pretty good comparison.

They even do the extreme depth of field on all elements not within a central square of the screen, an effect I hate personally.

This and Eternal Strands are on my radar.
Art direction looks stunning.
Looks like a Western Persona.
I'd change the font on the number damage though.
I'm fussy about fonts.
