So, you are essentially confirming that FH5 cannot(same as GT7), in any way, be considered the best racing game on PS5, as the two titles are too different to be compared and cater to completely distinct audiences.

I finished Banjo-Tooie in November (I think), first time I've completed it since I was a teenager. Game has killed all of my desire to play a single player game since. I started Sekiro yesterday after 3 months of feeling dead inside. Second half of Tooie is an absolute drag and a bad game.
Highly doubt it only because it seems too obvious of a home run. City streets, rural roads, touge, and wangan.
I think them doing Japan next is likely but the tweet specifically says "in honour of our impending arrival on PS5" so I think it's just PS5 = Japan sales related.
My doubt I guess is more just that it's so obvious of a choice combined with two other factors.

The series already had the longest break in its history and I assume there are more people like me getting bored of driving on the same Mexico map. Before that a new FH game always launched once every two years, so yeah, that could lead to fatigue. But almost 4 years (if it launches this fall)? It is three tabs on avatar customization and everything defaults to normal. You can make up your mind about whether it is crossing a line yourself. For me, I don't care anymore and having the lamely voiced avatars is a worse element of this installment.
